One North Kitchen and Bar

I love One North, but dont know what happend with Sunday brunch. Was not worth the price for 5 ppl! More of a breakfast not a brunch. No salmon, specialty chicken etc. Very dissapointed. 😒

I have been at One North several times with my husband or a friend. Our food and drinks so far had been good. But, just yesterday we had a Christmas party there. The setup of the tables was not as we expected, everybody was seated as if they were their own group instead of 1 whole group, they did explain that it makes it easier for the waitresses to set up that way. The waitresses were good, it was a large group. The disappointment came with the food. At our table most people ordered New York Stake with seasonal veggies. Sadly, the stakes were cold and had a lot of silver skin that made them chewy and hard to cut. The seasonal veggies were only baby carrots that were soggy and weird looking texture, the mashed potatoes were flavorless. We are less than half of our stake, I only ate the one carrot to taste. From our table 2 people returned their plates. It was unfortunate, due to this experience I wouldn't recommend large groups to hold their events there.

The food from here is phenomenal! I've never been disappointed with my food from here 2 of my favorite menu items are their blackened chicken alfredo & their Brussels Sprouts with bacon. The food can be a bit pricey but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

Food is definitely overpriced for quality and portions. If you like paying $20 to fill up on cheap mashed potatoes and frozen vegetables, this is the place for you. The part of the meal that you are actually paying for, you don't get much of and is of no particular great quality for the price. This place is getting away with charging ridiculous prices for mediocre sides.

Unfortunately, not impressed with the food. Cold rice bowl, again, and dry fettuccine. Sorry, I hate leaving a bad review, but I tried several times to be impressed...no luck.

Went back to eat today bartender looked at us numerous times but never waited on us!!! Won’t be back sick of crappy service everywhere!!!

Initially I ordered the salmon & avocado wrap but it both smelled and tasted quite fishy, which is not expected with salmon. Our waitress suggested an alternative - a similar wrap with chicken instead - and that was good instead. I wish I knew her name, but ultimately the great service is what will likely bring us back to try again! She was always available as soon as we needed her, checked in frequently enough but was never a bother, and was overall kind/attentive.

I love this place. Food, drinks, and service are always top-notch. The restaurant is always extremely clean as well.
However, on Friday and Saturday night the live music is always so loud you can't hear the person next to you talk. The atmosphere feels more like the roadhouse than a nice restaurant for a date night. It has deterred me many times from coming here.

FOOD WAS EXTREMELY BLAND!
I ordered beer cheese burger. Cheese was watered down and flavorless. Turned the bun to mush.
My wife order what I think was called Tuscany tortellini. The meal was dry and sauceless.
Beer and cocktails were good and service was okay.
Restaurant was extremely loud where were sat. It was a small corridor on the front of the building where the acoustics were amplified. Couldn’t hear our guess talk

The pasta portion are ridiculously small!

Food is decent, staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere inside is fancy. However, I can't stand having people parked at the glass with their headlights shining at our faces while we're eating. Had this for about 20 minutes, the guy wasn't even in his truck. Eventually he left with his take out order.

01/20/2025 response to owner about the headlights. I went to the restaurant manager and complained about the headlights at that time and he didn't know what to do as he said he didn't know whose truck it was.

Anyways, I came back to edit my review as I just ate here again yesterday. I tried to do a review on Toast but their website wasn't letting me. So here I am.

To start we got water and it had a pool water taste to it. I couldn't drink it, it literally tasted like I was drinking chemical water.

Reuben is my go to here, but this time I tried the Pretzel Beer Cheese Burger. I was baffled at how bland it tasted when I bit into it. The beer cheese must have had too much flour in it? The beer cheese should compliment the burger but instead it ruined it. The pico de gallo's taste was non existent as well and had lettuce in it? It was too bad, because the burger meat, pretzel bun, and bacon were delicious.

I really enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but this experience really caught me off guard.

We ALWAYS enjoy dining and drinking at One North! This place has a GREAT Atmosphere and their food is ALWAYS Quality!!
