This was by far the worst ribs I have ever had! Dry, tough, not smoked, virtually flavorless. The only flavor came from the ladle of bbq sauce they poured over it. What's with the 2 pieces of dry wheat bread thrown on top!?!?!? Save your money and go someplace else. Heck you can get better ribs at Applebee's and they suck too!

The guy at the window was very dry and he didn't smile. Not a good salesman either and for a family owned restaurant that is important from a customer of view. He did not suggest ANYTHING not even a drink which is a key sale point. I didn't feel like he wanted me to return and try the rest of the menu.

Went the first time looking for rib tips. Everything was mostly burnt, the sauce tasted like open pit and sweet baby rays mixed together. The meat was very dry and tough. Several months later got a craving for turkey drumsticks. Not good at all would be the best way to describe them. Super burnt also, the only flavor we could pick up is similar to garbage fire. The owner showed me reviews on his own web where his barbecue is the best in the world. To that I would say in his own little world. Not mine. I am very disappointed because he is fairly close, and if his food was good, I would average a weekly visit. As far as the restaurant itself. Closed to prevent hiring a staff. Maybe the food would be better if someone else cooked it.

Stopped in finally and had to try the BBQ. I was not disappointed. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and fries and a Coke. The pulled pork was probably one of the best that I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be back to try the ribs next. Can't wait. They are so friendly too almost makes it feel like you've known them for a long time.

I loved the collard greens and the ribs were great. Fish and green beans were good also. Baked macaroni is a great choice. All good down home cooking definitely will be returning to try the rest of the menu out. And more greens.

You have to try their BBQ Pulled Pork Sunday, I couldn’t get enough! My husband also loved his coney burger and everything was made fresh and came out piping hot, plenty of time to get to where you are going and still have hot food!

Love it. Order anything, the food is amazing. Even the version of a pulled pork sundae in a burrito. I know and it was great. Order a 1/2 rack of ribs and you won't be sorry.
