We love it every time we come here! You gotta go for Night of The Living Red for Fall!

Pricing is unbelievable. We used to love coming here when in town with our friends. Times are tough everywhere but this isn't a fine dining restaurant. Last year prices on some wines went up twice. On certain wines there was a $7 increase. Their ciders are decent but $10???. It used to be affordable to come here. The food is subpar at best and extremely overpriced. I pay less for a Pizza, or Charcuterie at a nice restaurant at home in Grand Rapids. Half the time the cheese tastes as if it was frozen. You never know what you're going to get, what's in stock or the amount. The fresh baked cookies used to be delicious. The last cookie I had didn't even taste like there was butter and egg. It literally crumbled like sand. And the oil tasted old. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful especially when the music isn't on the deck. Which makes it way to loud to have a conversation. The hours make it difficult. Most of us don't get home until they close. Now that summer is over they close even earlier. I don't even want to drink before 7-8 pm nor do I have the ability. Maybe open later and close later. People work for a living.

Sandhill Crane Vineyards is truly the gem of our area! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with the friendliest staff who make you feel right at home. Their food and wine are exceptional, consistently offering a delightful range of local flavors. The scenic views create the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. If you’re looking for a place that truly embodies the spirit of our local community, this is it. Sandhill Crane Vineyards is where local culture and hospitality shine.

This was a return group of us in celebration of my mom's birthday came in October of 2021 and now just revisited in celebration of my mom's 88th birthday on October 5, 2024. We had a group of 14 ladies and we're looking forward to this event it was a perfect beautiful Fall day. However, several of us were very disappointed in the experience. The staff was not very nice, actually most of them were pretty rude. The food was okay but overpriced for what you got especially the big charcuterie board which didn't even have the specialty meats only the salami on it. The winery was not even excessively busy at the time of the day we were there so not sure why out of so many things, including glasses for flights and the staff being like they were. We had been here before so we were very surprised that our experience was what it was this time around.

Stopped here last Saturday during a road trip and tried nearly all the dry wines ...I enjoyed all of them. I especially recommend the Vignoles and Rose. The area was beautiful and there was plenty of seating. I really enjoyed the original animal paintings for sale inside the building, as well.

In addition to the flights, I ordered the cheesy bread and paid $3 to add bacon. I was surprised when it came out ...it couldn't have been from more than maybe half a slice. There was so little that a few of the slices of bread didn't even have any. The cheesy bread still tasted good, though. I don't know if this is how they always serve it, or if someone just wasn't paying attention when they prepared it. If you plan to order the same, maybe ask them first to clarify how much bacon is supposed to go on top and decide for yourself if it's worth the added money.

Great experience with Brittney and Charlotte. Very nice medium bodied wines from a smaller vineyard and winery. Great exterior seating. Bought a bottle of their Syrah.
