Beautiful place, amazing home made food. Served with wine, beer, and cider. We will definitely be coming here regularly. Don’t miss out.
Always love coming here and it’s a great place to bring guests from out of town. Casual, laid back environment w/ high quality food & wine and relaxed atmosphere. Raspberry rose is one of my favorite wines here and you can’t go wrong with a charcuterie board to pair with it. Even better when the weather is nice!
We visited from out of town, everyone was super friendly and kind when we walked in. However, the systems were down due to a storm on 6/27/25 so we paid cash. I realized afterward that the female cashier shorted me $10. My total was $50.88 and I gave her $70 and she gave me $9.12 it is what it is but I am sure the drawer was over this day due to this.
Update: The owner went above and beyond to correct this. I wanted them to be aware of this mistake just so they knew why their drawer would be off and they sent me the money they shorted me even with it being a small amount! So courteous and clearly care about their customers. Can’t wait to go back!
I’ve been coming to Sandhill Crane Vineyards every year since 2013 and it’s become my favorite birthday tradition. Every June 24th, I make my way back to this little slice of Michigan wine country, and it never disappoints. See you all on Tuesday! 🥳
I loved this Winery&Cafe! Excellent wine and the food was even BETTER. The homemade Cinnamon rolls were my favorite. Live music and an amazing vibe. 12/10 would recommend. Can't wait to return!!
A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Michigan!
I came from out of state to visit my family and we wanted a fun atmosphere to get some good grub and drinks. We found this quaint winery and let me tell you, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The wine was outstanding, the live music added a perfect vibe, and the food from Kitchen Little? Incredible.
We started with two cheese boards (yes, two — they were that good), followed by a variety of sandwiches that were hearty, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the wine. And the highlight? My dad got the biggest cinnamon roll we’ve ever seen! It’s so big it was practically a local landmark on its own!
Every detail, from the atmosphere to the friendly staff, made this a fantastic and memorable experience. Whether you’re a wine lover, foodie, or just looking for a great spot to relax, this place delivers. Highly recommend making the trip — you won’t regret it!
I was truly embarrassed. I brought two people to sandhill Crane for the first time because I love your place. However, the clerk who took our order was so rude and dismissive of our requests I was truly embarrassed. I live in Florida and love Sandhill so much that every time I came back to Michigan I made sure I made a visit. I cannot say that I feel comfortable any longer bringing newbies to Sandhill because of the reception that we received. This saddens me to no end.
First time visitor and I fell in love! This was the choose location for our bookclub meeting and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was was lovely, just so happened to have live music today. The staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful! Great wine selections and very tasty food options. Our table had a few grazing options and they were all so good that I had to get everything to take home as well! Definitely recommend 🫶🏼
Beautiful spot!! The staff and owner are so kind, we got a personal tour of their facilities last minute. Local wine and beer with that homey feel and passionate people. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently visited Sandhill Crane Vineyards and enjoyed the most wonderful food and drink. The staff there is outstanding and treat you as if you are family. They always have perfect suggestions for wines you may like to try. We especially loved speaking with Chef Jake who now heads Kitchen Little at Sandhill Crane. His focaccia bread was out of this world, and his cinnamon rolls were absolutely to die for! We can’t wait to go back and try more of his delicious creations.Everyone employee there goes above and beyond for their customers. You will never be disappointed when you visit this very special winery.

Great place wonderful wine ? wonderful owners
We love it every time we come here! You gotta go for Night of The Living Red for Fall!
Pricing is unbelievable. We used to love coming here when in town with our friends. Times are tough everywhere but this isn't a fine dining restaurant. Last year prices on some wines went up twice. On certain wines there was a $7 increase. Their ciders are decent but $10???. It used to be affordable to come here. The food is subpar at best and extremely overpriced. I pay less for a Pizza, or Charcuterie at a nice restaurant at home in Grand Rapids. Half the time the cheese tastes as if it was frozen. You never know what you're going to get, what's in stock or the amount. The fresh baked cookies used to be delicious. The last cookie I had didn't even taste like there was butter and egg. It literally crumbled like sand. And the oil tasted old. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful especially when the music isn't on the deck. Which makes it way to loud to have a conversation. The hours make it difficult. Most of us don't get home until they close. Now that summer is over they close even earlier. I don't even want to drink before 7-8 pm nor do I have the ability. Maybe open later and close later. People work for a living.
