Dropped in for a late lunch on a Wednesday at Steve’s Ranch Family Restaurant in Jackson, and it was exactly what I needed after a long drive. No wait to be seated, and the vibe is super laid-back—nothing fancy, just a classic, clean spot where locals clearly feel at home. My server was friendly and quick to take my drink order while I looked over the menu. I went with the hot turkey, and honestly, it hit the spot. The turkey was tender and juicy like it had been slow-roasted, and the gravy was rich and poured on generously—just how I like it. It tasted like something your grandma would make, in the best way. Food came out fast (maybe 10 minutes), and everything felt freshly made. I didn’t try any sides or desserts this time, but I’ll definitely be swinging back through if I’m in Jackson again. Feels like the kind of place that doesn’t try to be trendy—it just does what it does well.

The food was phenomenal. Great service and top tier atmosphere. The cheesecake was the perfect ending of our meal.

Very outdated, dusty. Not very clean. Breakfast buffet was atrocious. Will not be back for the buffet. Everything was very bland and dry.

Me and two coworkers went here for lunch. The burgers were not what we ordered. Very small portion of fries and they charged way too much for adding cheese and bacon. Almost 7$ just to add those two. Very unhappy and waiter took forever to even get our check. This place needs to close. It would save a lot of food poisoning

The omelets are so good. Everything is homemade including the soups. Cecile is a great waitress. And we met the owner Fay. She is so nice and told us the history. I love small businesses like this. I think breakfast will be a thing for us from now on. Try the peanut butter pie!
