If you don't mind close proximity to others and if you are looking for an inexpensive steak dinner, then this place is for you. I felt like I was at an old time Sizzler or Ponderosa. Not sure what all the hype is about, I guess the price. You get what you pay for.

My wife and I stopped in for for early dinner to escape the cold! Very surprised. The food, and our server (Emilie) the very definition of perfection! We will be coming back, next time we are camping at Waterloo! Thank you! Stop by for a great time and great food!

They dimmed the lights at 3p and it was too dark. Where we were seated the lights went totally off. Mentioned it to our server and she said the manager was aware those lights needed replacement, guess that was low priority. But having our 94 yr old grandmother with us, we had to pack up and let her eat at home.

we came in tonight for my husband's birthday (first time at this location) and it was the best texas roadhouse we have ever had!!!! service was extremely quick and food was beyond amazing!!! we will definitely be back!

Food is always good, however the waitlist system they have is terrible. I waited an hour over my time, for them to tell me “we texted you 45 minutes ago” but never received a text. Never called my name either. This is the 2nd time this has happened.

I've always had great experiences at Texas Roadhouse in other locations—excellent food, service, and atmosphere. However, this location has been the complete opposite when it comes to service.
On multiple visits, I have felt unwelcomed. Each time, the service has been disappointing—whether it was being ignored for long periods, a lack of attentiveness, or an overall unfriendly attitude. It’s frustrating to experience this repeatedly, especially when I know the standard Texas Roadhouse is capable of delivering.
After reading reviews from this location, I’ve noticed a clear trend regarding who receives great service and who does not. The pattern in the reviews, along with the names of those writing them, suggests a concerning inconsistency in how customers are treated.
I truly enjoy Texas Roadhouse, but this location has consistently made me feel like my presence doesn’t matter. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because great food should be paired with great service, and unfortunately, that has not been the case here.

This place makes Outback Steak House look like McDonald's! The service, atmosphere, and food are absolutely outstanding. The Jackson, Michigan location sets the standard for all Texas Roadhouse Restaurants. The employees are very proactive in their jobs. I really enjoyed interacting with the dedicated staff. I highly recommend patronizing Texas Roadhouse in Jackson, Michigan.

The appetizers were ok, when our entrees finally arrived they were cold. The chili and rice tasted like they had half a jar of chili powder dumped into them. It wasn't busy, so there's no reason our food should have sat for so long. Not impressed.
Love our waitress Autumn!! She was the sweetest and so thoughtful with us and everyone around her. She was also on top of everything!
