Before I had Blue Julep I would have said no cupcake is better than a slice of cake. These cupcakes however, are better than any dessert I’ve ever tasted! They are presented beautifully, a wonderful texture, depth of richness and flavor. They are perfection. Get these for your birthday party if you want to treat your guests. The Blue Julep is amazing!! We wanted to do something special for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Sadly, we all live out of state, so couldn’t be there in person. The owner worked with me to not only create a custom cake flavor and decorated it exquisitely, but also helped me to get it delivered through a third party service. My grandparents LOVED it. They kept saying how nervous they were to cut into it because of how beautiful it was. But when they did, my grandmother said “I have never tasted a better cake than this”. So grateful for this business helping my grandparents feel special and loved. Great cakes that are obviously made with love and care.

Walked past this shop on my way to work and stopped in on my way back to the car. Got an Oreo and a Coconut Raspberry cupcake to share with my husband and my only regret was having to share! The flavors are spot on and the frosting is melt-in-your-mouth delicious (and I dont like frosting). I would absolutely order from them again! (Please forgive the squished look of the cupcakes, I dropped them. They looked picture perfect before then)

I have ordered custom cookies for Corporate events, brought cupcakes in for co-workers, and most recently had a custom birthday and smash cake for my Daughter's first birthday party! I cannot recommend them enough - excellent communication, gorgeous design work and most importantly everything is DELICIOUS!
We were in Jackson and had a sweet tooth going on so we searched for a local bakery. Up came the Blue Julep and away we went. First off, the store front is amazing! Then we walked in and were greeted with the warmest smile and southern hospitality.
After making our selections, (molasses cookie, strawberry cheesecake, key lime pie and a “miss linda” aka the best peanut butter sheet cake cupcake ever!!!! cupcake) we found out she made her lemon curd in house so we had to get a macaron and lemon cupcake. After trying them all sitting here in the truck, we had to immediately leave this review.
We will be back soon to try some more!!!

I ordered cupcakes for a college graduation celebration and they were outstanding! The person I spoke with on the phone was helpful with flavors and fillings, and the cupcakes themselves were heavenly. We ordered the chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, lemon with lemon curd filling, and the carrot cake. All of them received rave reviews and they looked just as good as the photo on the website.
