I love the Water Store, and I have been coming here on a regular basis for years, as it's close to my home and I do not drink city water. I have always had a great experience, until over the weekend, when I stopped in as usual to fill my water jugs. The woman working that day, who was standing outside smoking when I arrived, seemed very annoyed with me, and immediately took two of my jugs and began washing them out. That has never happened before, and I was somewhat taken aback. I told her in a very nice manner that I wasn't comfortable with her handling my water jugs, what with covid and social distancing, which I still practice. She simply would not stop though, and finally stood behind me, chastising me for paying so much for my new 3 gallon jug (I'd told her that I just purchased it, while trying to get her to leave me alone), which as far as I'm concerned was not necessarily at all. Her bullying and rude demeanor, which unfortunately was taking my attention off of filling my jugs, caused a bit of water to overflow, which she attempted to get in front of me to wipe up. At that point, I mentioned to her that I'd been coming in this store for years now, and had never seen her there before. I asked if she was the owner, and was very rudely told no, she was the manager. I asked her to please back away and let me finish filling my jugs in peace, as I was a regular customer and was well aware of how to fill the jugs without her assistance. She mumbled angrily under her breath, and stood in the doorway of the fill room watching me, which made me particularly nervous. As soon as I paid for my water, she began mumbling what I could only assume were curse words under her breath, and I got out of there ASAP. I have a regular job, at which I work with the public, as well as being an entertainer who works with the public as, and I do not have this type of problem, ever. As a customer, I was made to feel, well, terrible. I think she may have been upset because I interrupted her cigarette break maybe, I dunno, but whatever the case, she should not be allowed to treat anyone, especially regular customers, in that manner. Shame on you Water Store manager. Unfortunately, I will never go here again.
