Sadly, Veritas was severely understaffed for not only for it being New Year's Eve but also the final night for Drinks and Deception. 3 servers for the entire restaurant. One bartender. Mediocre food. Our server did a fantastic job, especially with it being her FIRST TIME serving. Talk about being thrown to the wolves. Despite many others getting up and walking out, my date and I stayed. I'd gladly give it another try when fully-staffed.
We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. We brought our friends here for “Christmas “!! The food was great and the atmosphere very nice! Our server… Amber - was FABULOUS! Very knowledgeable and attentive!! A great experience!
