Food is my favorite in town. The people are always helpful. And the atmosphere reminds me of a simpler time. Can’t explain it. I wish I could order their food on DoorDash but it’s probably best for my wallet and belt line that they don’t.

Went to lunch with my mom on a Thursday afternoon. The place was not super crowded, and we received prompt service. The burgers were absolutely delicious! I had a regular cheese burger and she had a patty melt. Both were full of flavor. Would definitely go back!

Best burgers in Jackson, we’ve been coming to West Point Lounge for over 20 years and they never disappoint! The serving staff is always quick and friendly - even the chefs will strike up a conversation if they’re not busy. You can either sit at the bar or they have tables. It’s on the smaller side, so if it’s a busy time it will be harder for large groups, but they’ll do their best to make it work for you. Enjoy watching the fish above the bar!Kid-friendliness: It’s a good hometown bar kind of place. Lots of kid-friendly food.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a single ground floor place, but there are two doors to get in so maybe a little trickier

When I called to place my order the woman who answered said “Point”. She wasn’t very pleasant when taking my order. She was very curt and short with answers.I went to pick up. It was 1:00 pm. I didn’t want to call and order take out during the busy lunch hour. There were 2 people at the bar and a couple tables had customers.No one even said hello or acknowledged me. So I stood there until someone came and I said I had a takeout order. I think it was the same woman who took my order because she was as pleasant in person as she was on the phone.She gave me my bill and I paid and all she said literally at all was “There ya go”Not even a hint of a smile or thank you.Honestly, the burgers are wonderful and I am grateful that this place exists.It would be nice to have someone at least say Hello.Maybe that is too much to ask or expect in this day and age.I was always taught to say please and thank you… I still do
