A huge shoutout to West Texas BBQ Co. for serving up an unforgettable meal on our big day! From the cocktail hour apps (ribs + that street corn dip—my groom and I almost missed it because it disappeared so fast!) to the full buffet spread, everything was absolutely delicious. We went with the Longhorn package—brisket, pulled pork, chicken, mac & cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, rolls, and their signature BBQ sauce—and our guests could not stop raving. The staff was incredible and kept everything perfectly stocked all night long. If you want mouthwatering barbecue and amazing service, West Texas BBQ Co. is the way to go.
Hubby went in today to grab us some nibbles, and it was FANTASTIC!! One minor wrinkle in the order and they took great care of him when he returned. Pleasant staff and huge portions very appropriate to the pricing. The brisket and ribs were like butter. Street corn dip was fiiire!!
The people are awesome, they keep a smile and they make sure entertained with all the jokes and friendly atmosphere. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was because I didn’t enjoy the greens! Not like everything else that we had in this awesome restaurant!

Great bbq over all! The ribs were on point and the pricing was very reasonable! Sides were good as well. The turkey was my favorite part! I wish the rolls were softer but would definitely eat here again.

Today, my husband and I decided to drive 40 minutes to try West Texas BBQ after seeing some pictures of the place on Facebook. We're both huge fans of BBQ and couldn’t wait to give it a shot. We placed an online order about 20 minutes before arriving at the restaurant, and when we ordered, it indicated that our meal would be ready in 15 minutes—perfect timing.
When my husband went inside to pick up our order, he was greeted by a woman named Michelle, who was very rude. Upon hearing that he was there to pick up an online order, she snarkily remarked, “You’re extremely early.” My husband apologized and explained that the order confirmation had said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and he added that it was no problem if it wasn't ready yet.
Soon after, a kitchen staff member came out with our order, but Michelle, in a sarcastic tone, told him, “I guess we are late on his order” while looking at my husband. My husband responded that he hadn’t said that at all; he had only stated what the confirmation indicated. If the order wasn't ready, he was perfectly fine with waiting. Unfortunately, Michelle continued to talk about my husband under her breath. When he asked her to repeat herself, she pretended not to hear him. My husband then said, “I’m not sure what I did to upset you, but you are being extremely rude, and I don’t appreciate you putting words in my mouth.” Michelle thought it was amusing to mock him at that point.
Frustrated, my husband grabbed the food and reminded her that without customers, she wouldn’t have a job, and suggested that she might want to improve her customer service skills. When he returned to the car, he was so upset that he wanted to return all of the food. I listened to his experience, calmed him down, and then called the restaurant. Whoever answered the phone didn’t give her name and seemed disinterested in hearing about what had happened.
At this point, we were both feeling frustrated, and the whole experience felt ruined. Regardless of how good the food was, the customer service we received today left a terrible impression. As people who love to travel for good food, we won’t be returning.
Hunter, if I were you as a business owner, I would consider reassessing my staff and possibly removing Michelle from a customer-facing role. She should not be taking orders or handling customers if she’s going to treat people this way.

Drove 40 minutes to try a new BBQ place and ordered online, with the pickup time set for 15 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later and was met with a rude attitude—the staff acted like I was way too early, which wasn’t a big deal since I was fine waiting. When my food was finally handed over, the person was snobby and didn’t even acknowledge me when I said thank you.
If I was the owner I would be concerned with how she is treating guest, unfortunately not sure if I will return even if the food is good.

I come from out of town wasn’t really for sure about their hours. I’ve been eating at West Texas barbecue for at least 10 or 10 years. It used to be one of my favorite spots until today. I stopped in at 10:45 AM and the lady was extremely rude to me. Can I help you, sir with a really snotty attitude, I told her that I was coming from out of town and she insisted that I leave and that they don’t open for another 15 minutes after being treated so horribly I decided it wasn’t worth the wait. It’s so sad to see such a great company that has really great food It ran down the drain by horrible customer service

No flavor in greens. They tasted like they were only boiled nothing else in it. Dry and bland mac n cheese. Ribs were ok. I'm personally not a big fan of smoked anything but I thought I'd give it a try. I was told the place was good. Idk if I just came on a bad day or what. But I will not be returning.

I had really high hopes for a place called West Texas BBQ. After eating there I was quite disappointed. The lady taking our order was incredibly nice and the sides were actually pretty decent, however the meat was a different story. The brisket was dry and chewy and the burnt ends were beyond burnt. Many pieces were so burnt they were basically charcoal. How they could even serve them is a disgrace. The pulled pork and ribs were meh, but nothing to remember. I will say the BBQ sauces were decent, but with the meant being such a massive disappointment, I couldn't rate a BBQ place any higher.

The brisket and baked beans were really good. I didn't care much for the cole slaw, so many celery seeds, celery was all I could taste.

Fist time eating here today and it will be my last. I was served cold brisket chili twice the remake was colder. The sides give a whole new meaning to the word BLAND . I'm actually from Texas and we do not cook food this way. Texas should be left out of the business name food here is beyond terrible and a waste of money.

Ribs were plain awful. Overcooked, dry as sand. Pretty much uneatable. Plus I ordered a 1/2 rack and only got 1/4.

Driven by countless times. Had always said I'd love to try this place. I will probably not go back again. I ordered the 3 meat (pulled pork, brisket, turkey) with 2 sides (mac n cheese, baked beans). I also ordered a side of potato salad, with corn muffin. To top it off 1/4 slab of ribs. I'll break it down.
Brisket- very tender, juicy, too salty.
Turkey- very dry and bland.
Pulled pork- slightly dry, not much flavor.
Mac n cheese- spiced version of kraft.
Baked beans- tasted like canned bushes
Potato salad- very bland.
Corn muffin- bland and dry.
Ribs were the best thing I had out of all things ordered.
All In all, most things were pretty dry. In my experience of smoking my own meats, they are always very tender, and juicy. Most of the items were pretty bland as well. I was very disappointed in west Texas BBQ.
