This place is amazing! It's worth the wait because they are so popular. When in Jackson MI you must stop over and try some of their fried chicken. It is Devine! Tastes homemade and the sides are large. Will be visiting again soon!

Not the nicest on the phone but overall food is consistent.. The fish doesn't travel well if you like crispy fish.. Very good fish and chicken..sides are good as well.

Wish I could give zero stars. We called in takeout on a Friday during lent and ordered six dinners. They told us it would be 20 minutes from the time we called, and upon arrival we waited another 5 minutes to be greeted. They then told us it would be another 10 to 12 minutes. 14 minutes later, when I asked what was going on, the woman working the counter looked like I just asked her to solve a Rubiks cube in under 60 seconds. She then proceeded to tell me something about "a guy in the back" and mumbled something about the fryer. I still didn't understand what she meant and then she offered me a cutlet or cod. I asked her to be honest this time, and tell me how much longer it will take for our food and she told me again "10 to 12 minutes." I told her that's what she said last time and I asked for my money back. She then proceeded to get an attitude with me and called up the "manager" who was twice as rude and acted like she did not know how to work a cash machine. They treated myself and my father like crap for ordering $60 worth of chicken trying to help a small business in Jackson when they were in the wrong. We left & went to KFC and will never be back to Whites again after going there in our family for approximately 30+ years.

No idea on the food, service or atmosphere. Tried to go to get some late night food and the time on the door and the time on the internet all said 10:00pm close. There were no notes on the door and the associate indicated that they close at 9:00. Only ask is change the times.

The food was terrible and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Chicken fatty and over priced for amount you receive. The people and service are great.
Pre-ordered was told 15 min.got there 4 min .early paid and gave 2dol.tip then other customer took order.was told to go get it.they remade 2nd order shoved everything in boxes .got home food smashed and biscuts all broken.will never recommended this place again.phone operator sucks.

As soon as i walked in and seen the place i kinda had a feeling it wasn’t gonna be good but we gave it a shot anyway and then ordered a sandwich and leg meal for me and my friend and once we received the food we bit into it we couldn’t even swallow. That’s how bad the chicken was , it was watery and the breading was wet. didn’t complain still paid but pretty much the chicken was ?️
