We had an outstanding experience at Rosalie's tonight. The building has great character: a cozy, charming, pub-like atmosphere. Our server Christie has the gift of hospitality and used it with us; the food was excellent, and we left with a free piece of pecan pie. We live an hour and more away but hope to return as soon as possible.
Drawn to this restaurant because it wasn't your run of the mill building. It is in a house with inside and outside seating. Cute interior and exterior. We were disappointed in entrees however. Their pizza oven was out of commission so that wasn't an option. I suspect that is a customer favorite. We had pasta and fish & chips. Not much meat in the lasagna and the fish looked and tasted liked "Mrs Paul's " frozen. Hand cut classic fries were good. Service...
Drove 71 miles for lunch and worth it every time! THE best gluten free burger and don’t even ask about their fries that don’t come frozen in a bag-these are hand cut, soaked to get excess starch out, hand dried and THEN fried. Trust me. McKenzie is a marvelous waitperson, too, and I won’t even bring up their Long Island Iced Teas! 👍
