Rosti potatoes were so hard they were cutting the roof of my mouth. Only took one bite. Steak sandwich was chewy, egg overcooked and rubbery. Hubby got a “Bennie” English muffin was black. I didn’t eat my meal so they gave me 15% off. Won’t be back.

I traveled in from Chicago this week to see my family in Kalamazoo for the holidays. I decided to book a reservation at a restaurant for our family dinner this year since my sister has a newborn with a hearing disability and hosting was a lot of pressure she wasn't up for. She also has two other kiddos (4 and 9- one who is lactose intolerant), my other niece and I are vegetarian and the rest of my family eats meat. Needless to say, we are a bit complicated! I looked up the space and menu at 600 Kitchen and Bar and it seemed to have high quality food that accomdated all of us. I called and requested a somewhat private area where the littles wouldn't be a bother to other folks enjoying their holiday season meals. The restaurant not only gave us the perfect table, but also the perfect server! Zoie was absolutely delightful. She was attentive, kind and so helpful to our 9-person family. She was even kind enough to make a special early birthday surprise chocolate cake for my niece who is turning 5 in a few days. I am so grateful to this restaurant and for their excellent service to make my family's holiday meal very special. We all had a wonderful meal and never felt rushed or pressured to leave and we never felt ignored either. That's a tough job for any server handling a group like ours- amongst juggling other tables- especially during the holidays. Thank you so much Zoie and team. We will certainly be back!

We visited the 600 Kitchen & Bar for the first time recently and had a wonderful experience! Our group of 4 was seated right away for a later dinner (a little after 8:00) on a Friday and the entire staff was friendly & helpful (Delanie was our server and she was awesome). The food & drinks were delicious and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere. What a great vibe this building gives! We have some friends in the Kzoo area and are already planning a return visit!

We had a super fun experience at Kitchen 600! The service was wonderful and the vibes of the restaurant are so fun!! The prices were reasonable and the presentation of everything we ordered was beautiful! Our only complaint is that everything was very spicy… my husband got the NFC and was quite shocked at how spicy it was. Even my corn chowder had a zip to it! The flavor was overall yummy, just not quite what we anticipated. We hope to return and try some different items on the menu!

Located in a gentrified foundry building, this place has a unique ambience. The service was great. I appreciated having healthier menu options. The blackened salmon salad was very good.

The food is delicious New American cuisine. The Brunch and Dinner menus are outstanding and we loved the thoughtful cocktails. The decor is warm and modern with exposed brick and metal work touches.

Best food in Kalamazoo. The service was great. The atmosphere was beautiful. Nothing could have made it better. Lots of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. Perfect all around. Will be coming back.

600 Kitchen used to be one of the better places to eat in Kalamazoo. Feels like it has slipped a fair bit. It’s always been a little noisy because of the architecture but now the food is just OK and the service was fine.
It’s too expensive to be just phoning it in.

Food was amazing! Burmese Pork and the dip trio won the night. Daughter loved her Salmon too. Had a reservation and was seated right away by a very nice young lady. Waiter was training and will be very good with a little more practice.
