Went in Friday to redeem a $75 gift certificate that was given to us when my Mother-in-law passed in January 2021. When I walked in I could hear the employees in the back complaining about another customer order. The woman who eventually came up to the register to help me took one look at my gift certificate and told me it was expired. There is no expiration date on the certificate. She said there is a law in MI that makes a gift certificate void after 5 years - I chose to let her be wrong about the gift certificate by left disappointed that this is the way the new owners are choosing to run their business. We have been loyal customers but recently moved to Plainwell. Wanted to use the generous gift certificate to let our kids try the tasty hot chicken salad. Miss the original owners.

Pleasantly surprised. First time I've had hot chicken salad. It was tasty. Their vinegrette salad dressing was spot on! I think their fruit chutney was a nice substitute for butter on their soft rolls. Kudos!

This business would not allow my mother to redeem a gift certificate that was given to her because it was too old. There was no expiration date listed on this gift certificate which would indicate this being invalid. They told her to give her the numbers and they would try to run it but they ended up charging her credit card for the full amount. This is poor business practices. In my eyes this is essentially stealing money from the person who bought the gift certificate up front. Just because your modern system doesn't have the capabilities of processing this gift certificate is not a good excuse. Someone gave this business money up front and now they refuse to honor their end of the agreement. There's no excuse for this. This company stole money from an elderly lady today.

I have ordered from Ample Pantry many times and have always been happy with the food and the delivery service is so convenient.I ordered two meals by phone earlier today, (spoke with a human who took all my info), wrote the check and waited. My meals never showed up. I gave them till 6PM and tried to call but could only leave a message. Imagine my embarrassment when I had nothing to serve to my friend who I had invited for dinner. (We settled on grilled cheese and tomato soup).I am so disappointed in Ample Pantry!!!!

Beware if you are gluten sensitive. They do not list all of their ingredients for each item. Ordered 2 stuffed chicken dinners, they coat and stuff with breadcrumbs - which is not listed.

MY GOODNESS!! ❤️❤️❤️ I just had a most delicious meal from The Ample Pantry. The vegetarian lasagna was AMAZING. The string beans were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The herb dinner roll complemented the meal well. The blueberry pie- I’m still working on that now- but my 1st bite was delightful. The salad dressing selection was very nice and the entire presentation felt warmly packaged in a grandmother’s kitchen. The most impressive thing to note, is that The Ample Pantry has not lost its touch. Being native of Kalamazoo, I used to order Ample Pantry for committee meetings many years ago. It’s so great to know that the new owners care about the community enough to keep the heart in the kitchen and with its customers. Beautiful job Ample Pantry!! ??????There was love in this food!
