It’s a dilapidated old place… but that’s great! NO FOOD. Drinks are available. It is a pool hall first, everything else takes a backseat to that. And that’s fine. It is a GREAT place to shoot pool.
Beautiful space. Nice tables.
Honestly...my experience here had nothing 2 do with food... shooting pool which is fun...but I had the pleasure of meeting the owner & got a complete rundown on him & the story behind Lamplighter...such an awesome guy...stop by & offer 2 help him finish his dream of finishing the Lamplighter... he's also 80...has a tendency 2 fall..but keep on working on the Lamplighter ??...I had the pleasure of helping him & learning the history behind the Lamplighter from the beginning 2 now...????
I thought this was a haunted house attraction
Once their business is complete with updating I can see it being a very nice place to go.

Like it that they opened a bar area in the pool hall
Beautiful place

Had my first draft here, in 1998. I was 16. First kiss with Molly, 2007. Heidi, 2009.Most underrated place in Kalamazoo.
Pretty good place to have fun. And enjoy drinks and people know s one another.

This place looks great. Only thing is they aren't open most of the time.
Awesome hometown Cheers type of place. The owners have put a lot of hard work and money into having a quiet, peaceful place to say hi to old friends and to also meet new ones. Very cool hands on carpentry from the owners Bruce and Randy. Both of who are brothers.
They are doing great things in updating this place
Pool time to cue it up at the bar_bq
Best place that feels like home.
