Bilbo’s chooses to host meetings for Kalamazoo GOP, which doesn’t align with my values, therefore I’ll be using my purchasing power elsewhere from now on. Democracy includes listening to constituents, which Bill Huizenga has repeatedly failed to do.
Their salad dressing-yummm
We tried their pizza with one of our friend and his wife. The pizza was great. It felt like a fusion between Detroit style and Chicago style pizza. Maybe this is how pizza is meant to be at Kalamazoo, in between both 😉
Stopped in for a quick bite and beer after golf. Sydnee was our server and was phenomenal. One of our friends was with us and loves to tease the workers. As quick as he dished it out Sydnee gave it right back. She was funny and gave excellent service. The food as always was good and the honey blond looked more like an amber but was still tasty.
I love the smoked wings combined with the different dipping sauces. Nice place with a bar or booths. The menu is hilarious.
I will be straight-up honest that I can't rate the food because I didn't try any (no dairy for me). However, I was with a large group of about 25 people. We only had one unfortunate waiter who drew the short straw that night and got stuck with us all. He rocked it out of the park, though! Our cups were always half full or full and the others in my group said their food was hot, fresh, and delicious. And, I mean, come on, Bilbo's may only be local but you must know that around here they are famous for their pizza, so you must try your favorite pizza pie combo flavors here for yourselves. Almost forgot to mention the many gluten-free options here, too! They have the most gluten free options than several pizza places around here. If pizza is not your thing, there are plenty of other options here to try. Like 20-ish appetizers!
The Stadium Drive location is easy to get to and usually has a decent amount of parking available. They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail options that are tasty so if you're the DD, you can still have a mocktail. The one I had was really good. Tried a sip of the lavender one too. Not a fan of lavender at all, but this was not bad.
Delicious salads.
Pizza has been undercooked the last 3 times even after telling them we'll cooked. Tonight it was raw. Been going to Bilbo's for over 40 years, might be my last time.
Very cute atmosphere although it would be nice if they played hobbit/tavern music. Food was delicious! The portobello mushroom appetizer was so good and the pizzas were amazing as well. Generous toppings, soft and slightly chewy crust (perfectly the way I like it), and the sauce is on point.

Poor server was crazy busy and kept forgetting to refill our drinks. Though when one was mixed badly she was very quick with a replacement.
