Ask for barbeque numerous times once when I was ordering and reminded them at the window people at them positions don't care about the job they have. This hole society of people now days just don't have any common curiosity. There isn't any regard for the job their hired for. It's a sad sad world now days.

We ordered through the drive thru!! The staff was very pleasant as it was our first time there!! The gems were their Famous French Fries and the Double Mushroom and Swiss Burgers!! They were FANTASTIC!! If you love them as much as we do you "REALLY" need to check them out!! We've already decided that we're going back again!!

HUGE shoutout to Jamal Saturday night 3-9-24 working the window. Great customer service, had few issues the few previous drive thru’s we stopped at. Jamal had a great attitude, great service, and even apologized for the restaurants being bad. This man definitely is a great asset to the checkers team and needs to be noticed or appreciated more than a google review. Checkers I hope you truly value the worker you have with Jamal, as a manager myself hang on to him he seems like an employee that truly enjoys his job and does a great job at it. Thank you Jamal be blessed!

Edit: Reached out to checkers like they asked and never heard back. Awesome to have the appearance of caring on the review reply but never followed up.Was trapped in the drive through for a full an hour and they still got our order wrong. Employees were going car to car asking who had what order and giving their food to them while being trapped in the drive through line. When we got to the first window (at the 30 minute mark) they asked us what we ordered. We told them and they took payment. We were then asked to go to the second window. We waited another 20 minutes where no cars moved. At the 50 minute mark in the car the person in front of us started yelling "I've been here for over an hour!". By time we got up to the window, we too had waited a full hour as well. They asked us (again) what we ordered. Looked at our food and said "this is cold, we have to make it again". After another 5 minutes we got our food. They forgot our fries and it was lukewarm at best. Thought it would be easier to stop here for a quick bite... I won't make that mistake again.

Unbelievable! $7.19 for 2 sodas! Are you serious? I wish I would have been paying attention before I handed them my $$$.
I had to edit my review on the downtown Kalamazoo checkers Restaurant unfortunately... i went to the website to see if they were open so i could grab a quick bite and it stated that they were open until midnight. I pulled up to the speaker at 11:22pm on Feb 20th. The woman then proceeded to tell me that they were already closed. I mentioned to her that the website said they were open until 12am and she barked back at me that "clearly we're closed " i didn't ask for the rude behavior nor was it appreciated. Is this establishment supposed to be open until midnight as stated on the website and they just closed early? If they did not close the restaurant before actual closing time then the website needs updated please. Also, maybe teach the girl working during the time and date stamp i posted, better customer service?Thanks in advance!

Ordered before lunch rush. Drive thru is slightly confusing with signage. Automated teller- not cool. Can't ask questions? Doesn't read food back and ask if it needs changing? Got the wrong order. Drove back through. I was very polite. They were rude at the window like it was my fault. I continued to smile and make light of it, and they continued to be rude. I received the order that was intended for me- by the time stamp on the receipt still on it, it was now 20 minutes old (how long it took me to get back through the line). Cold and nasty. So, I can't even attest to the food. Waste.
