Love this place! The parking is behind the building. I am dairy free and I ordered the spaghetti without Parmesan cheese. The menu has many noodles that are gluten free. Great place to dine and delicious food!

Visited on 3/12/24. Overall, meh. Food was decent, but not great. In paticular, the Buratta and Mussels apps were mediocre (at best). Entrees were "OK", but I could do much better with basic ingredients from Meijer. The bread was a serious dissapointment as was the olive oil dip, which is a pretty sad statement for an Italian restaurant. Server was nice, but not very well trained. She hit the minimum, but didn't anticipate our needs (e.g. we needed to ask for bread, wave her down for additional drinks, etc.). Atmosphere is dated. Overall it's decent spot, but there are far better options in the area at the same cost point. As much as I hate chains, I'd go to Carrabbas before going here again. Definitrely not a place I'll be returning to.

Our group of 4 had a Saturday night reservation. The staff were all very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We all enjoyed our food, and highly recommend the baked goat cheese, lasagna roll ups, and chicken Marsala. And we couldn't resist a cannoli to go. Would definitely come back.

Been coming here for many years. It’s one of the highlights of this entire town. Best restaurant in Kalamazoo. I worried myself Sick whether this place would stay open during Covid. Treat yourself.

We started off our meal with the yummiest mushroom appetizer and goat cheese app. Had great drinks and a fantastic beef rib Marsala and beef ravioli in Gorgonzola cheese sauce. It was fantastic from start to finish.

We like the comfortable and cozy dining room. The menu and drink offerings are varied and satisfying. On this occasion the shrimp scampi lacked flavor but the cudighi and pepper dish was very tasty. Good salads, especially the Caesar; the arugula, beets and and goat cheese would have benefitted from something crunchy (nuts?) instead of the cherry tomatoes, but the beets and dressing were delicious. Nice wine and a personable, attentive server. Pleasant ambiance and good value.

The food and atmosphere were excellent as always. My wife and I allowed our 17 year old daughter to join us here for the first time and she absolutely loved the experience. She is thinking she may want to have her prom dinner here. Kudos to the entire Comensoli's staff.

Wonderful meal as always! I don't think I have ever had something there that was not delicious! More clams needed in the linguine with clams would be my only recommendation. It was otherwise very tasty! Excellent, attentive staff! Highly recommend this place!!

We had a delicious dinner to celebrate a birthday period I was so happy they had Brussels sprouts. As a special on the menu! I had the Frutta Di Mare, my husband had Cudighi supreme pizza and my daughter had Fettechini with Chicken. Everyone brought home leftovers from their generous portions!

Our server was understanding of our slow to decide and did a nice job knowing when to check on us without making us feel rushed. Julia was not our server, but graciously took the time to photo our group.

I think four stars is fair, maybe even a bit generous. We had a lovely view from a cable of three different people, begging for money, they might as well move, and just let Kalamazoo die. The food,, it was OK, crab stuffed mushrooms were more mushroom than anything else but tasty. I ordered the braised beef ravioli and Gargola cream sauce, all I could taste was Gorgonzola, I couldn't taste the beef I couldn't taste anything else. My companion ordered some chicken, it was OK, the little vegetable strands were inedible. This is the first Italian restaurant I've ever seen that doesn't have bread, you don't get a basket of bread, there's not bread on their menu. The desserts were horrible, the red velvet cake thing was maybe prepackaged? The cannoli was OK. It was very sweet, very heavy . The server was nice, 100 bucks for dinner for two, I was very underwhelmed
