Irish pub downstairs…something different upstairs, but that part was closed when we came…didn’t matter! Food seemed the same at either place.

Bar look like a European import.

Had a great time.

We celebrated our anniversary here. We had a drink at the bar initially, very friendly bar tender. We ate upstairs, more of a family style restaurant than the bar area. The food was excellent. I had an asparagus fettuccine and my husband had vegetable lasagna. They weren’t traditional Italian dishes, but very flavorful!! Portions were just the right size, we shared a tiramisu for dessert, it was delicious. We definitely plan on going back!

The duck and lamb chops were outstanding!!
Spinach feta burger not so much.

Finally, FINALLY! A place to eat where the food actually LOOKS AND TASTES as one would imagine from reading the menu. A good dish should rely on its ingredients for its flavor, rather than being seasoned to death.
Rest assured, you can eat without disappointment. I ordered the chicken prasidio with a side salad and French bread. It was excellent!
The Guinness also happens to be excellent

This is NOT a restaurant where you should go to eat a great meal...It's a restaurant where you should go to EXPERIENCE a great meal!

I had the duck, which I recommend enthusiastically, and paired it with a Michigan Riesling from Black Star Farms. The semi-dry wine was the perfect pairing with the duck and sweet blueberry glaze.

For dessert, I selected the chocolate mousse, which was also very good. Bring your friends for a first-class meal and pleasant company in this quaint neighborhood hangout, and prepare for a pleasant surprise.

I was staying in a hotel nearby and this was the only restaurant open late. I took my chance and drove up to this quite residential neighborhood, but as i stepped in, i was greeted by a live band and a room full of diners. Excellent food and flawless service. Ramon at the bar was fantastic! Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was cool. I have to say that the chairs kinda suck, I was afraid to move for fear the chair would break. My husband felt the same way. My food was different, but still very bland, I had to add a good amount of salt. I had 2 white Russian drinks and I believe there was more ice than alcohol. I felt nothing from the drink whatsoever, but it was tasty. For $10 a drink it should been bigger or at least had more alcohol. We took a piece of peanut butter pie, and it was absolutely delicious!

Parking: There are parking spots behind the restaurant, but you cannot tell when driving up because there's a fence. If you're not a local, you would never know. We had to go in a whole circle and park on the street.

AMAZINGHaven't been in years and it seems better than ever!---SUMMARY---(details below)Staff and Service: f a n t a s t I c!Environment: just rightClientele: felt like homePrices: delightfully unaware---DETAILS---★OVERVIEWI haven't been in years, and I'm so glad I went. I'd say it was better than ever. It was just the kind of experience I love to encounter in a neighborhood pub. It was cozy with nice lighting, and people actually engaging with one another.★STAFF & SERVICEDelightful and soooo good!It was crazy busy with people at every table and in every seat at the bar, and the staff actually seemed to be ENJOYING themselves. What a breath of fresh air!Smiles, efficiency, attention, kindness, helpfulness, fun, politeness, respect, and I could go on, but I think people will understand what I'm getting at :)★MUSIC!They have a great lineup of musicians who also love what they do, and it shows in their music and interaction with everyone else. It's lovely.★PRICE/VALUEUnexpectedly delighted when someone else paid, so I don't know, HOWEVER, I can't imagine one wouldn't find their experience worth every penny plus a generous tip!
