We had a fantastic experience today for brunch. We ate Davidstown Freighter Sandwich, The Old Standby, and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. All were delicious! The potatoes that came with the sandwich and Standby were wonderful. The staff were also very attentive and pleasant.

I have always had a fantastic meal at Crow’s Nest! My favorite dish is definitely the chicken Caesar salad, but everything I have ever had was delicious. Basically, anything with potatoes, which are covered in pepper just the way I like it! I usually stop at Fourth Coast downstairs for a London Fog (tea) as well.There is almost always a wait, especially on weekends, but I plan ahead and go record shopping at Satellite Records next door while I wait.

Ok food, kind of bland (we tried 3 things). Very cool eating area. Semi clean. Staff was mostly nice. Door guy was a prick. Super liberal/lefty kind of place (if that’s your thing this place is for you) but serve most traditional breakfast. I would go back. But probably not my first choice in the area. Over a good breakfast place.

As a business owner that has helped in the cleanliness of this establishment, I know the owners go above and beyond everything that needs to be done to keep this place in check. Unfortunately, it looks like a review attack has been set against them with no merit filed by some disgruntled employees. I won’t hesitate to return to enjoy the food and drink offered and I hope you don’t either!

It’s really unfortunate to hear about the roach and mice infestation happening right now. I won’t be returning until I hear more about recent inspections done by the health department and a clean up is done. It is visibly grimey, not to mention the bathroom in the kitchen. Please clean up so we can continue to enjoy the amazing food coming out of that kitchen without having to worry about getting sick!

I often go here on weekdays I have a day off bc it gets too busy on the weekend . Never had any issues but after reading the reddit review and recent comments. I'm worried about coming back. Hope the owner gets it fixed.

food was good, but knowing what i know now about there being roaches and mice running around the place, i threw out the leftovers i had in disgust. the host was kind but the service was cold and unwelcoming. i assumed our server was just having a bad day based on their disposition. but knowing the abysmal conditions that the workers there are subjected to made their attitude make way more sense. i feel bad for the people that work here and miss the old crow’s nest. as someone who’s lived here for 17 years, it’s a shame to see this new owner jon with no restaurant experience ruin a kalamazoo staple.
