Authentic indian food! Their methi chicken is our favorite. Newly introduced momos are the best. Can’t wait to try them again.

This place was incredible and authentic. The food is affordable too for what you're getting. Seriously amazing food and super cute inside. Great vegetarian selection. Love the color scheme of orange and turquoise. Just be careful not to hit your head on the low hanging lamps.

Tiny, family-owned Indian restaurant with high-quality food.Dietary restrictions: They will gladly make any vegetarian dishes-where possible-VEGAN.They also offer, at the end of their meals, a FREE rice pudding, but it is NOT VEGAN.

The food that we ordered was alright, & the servers initially seemed polite but our problem with this restaurant was a lack of communication leading to less than subpar service. My husband repeatedly told our server that he came here for spicy food & asked them to add the maximum level of spice to his order specifically. When they brought out the food it wasn’t to his liking but we didn’t complain because everyone’s spice tolerance is different & it’s difficult to gauge exactly what each individual likes. Without saying anything we just went about our meal. In a conversation amongst ourselves, my sister jokingly commented on how no food is ever spicy enough for my husband to which I said I should start carrying hot sauce in my purse from now on. The server overheard us & without asking us placed a bowl of chilies next to my husband without even mentioning that we’d be charged extra for the bowl of chilies no one asked for. Afterwards when they gave us the bill there was only the total amount charged but no breakdown of the prices so my husband politely asked for this which the server did not understand at all, she kept saying “this is the bill, please pay” after a long time she finally understood what we were asking for & provided the breakdown after which he realized that they’d charged us extra for the bowl of chilies we didn’t even ask for or touch, they were still on the table. We were annoyed but didn’t say anything. Since our experience wasn’t that great it reflected in their tip. We were then chased down & hassled, & the girl had no idea what my husband was trying to tell her. She just kept repeating “My boss will ask me” trying to intimidate us into paying more money. My husband very calmly explained to her about her tip & told her to detract her tip from the chilies they charged for without our permission & we walked out. I understand there is a language barrier & applaud these women for doing their best with the knowledge that they have. But at the end of the day we don’t appreciate being forced to pay more for something we didn’t even order than hassled about a larger tip amount later on. Clearly we won’t be back to this establishment again & a warning to people considering this restaurant is make sure that you explain exactly what you want multiple times or they’ll sneak stuff into the bill without your permission & then chase you down, not allowing you to leave when you decide they don’t deserve a large tip.

Cumin is a small family-owned establishment with many, many vegan options. It's charming-somehow-to notice when my waitress is taking care of her small child in between bringing me the food I ordered or checking up on me.

Few months ago I went to this restaurant for lunch, my mom doesn't eat onions so order food without it and was service but my other family member eats onion so we requested a raw onion, I can hear from kitchen some was yelling at us saying that they order a food without onions why the hell they need raw onion. What the hell was that so please avoid this place the staff in the kitchen is really pathetic and rude to customers. That's the reason I gave 1 star

A lovely atmosphere at Cumin. It's small, but not crowded. Welcoming. Our food was very good. I don't do spicy, although my son and his wife do, so I really appreciated each of us being able to choose a heat level. My one-year-old grandson was with us, and he enjoyed the lights and the music, as well as the Naan bread. To me, the best part was our waitress. She was very helpful in the menu selections and thoughtful in helping us with the baby. I would definitely recommend Cumin Indian Cuisine to othersKid-friendliness: Our waitress turned on extra lights to entertain my grandson and suggested a mango drink that he might like.

First visit here for the dinner menu. I had previously visited when they offered a lunch buffet, but that was a few years ago.Service was spot on, attentive and readily available without being overbearing. The starters were good, a little dry but great flavours. The main dish was delicious, the sauce was not as thick as I'm used to but that did not distract from the enjoyment. Naan was hot and fluffy. A little more rice would have been nice but that's a minor thing and I'm sure they would have provided more if asked. We will definitely be returning in the near future. The restaurant doesn't appear to have an alcohol license so be prepared for regular soft drinks and water.

Lots of veggie options, as usual with Indian food. I LOVE the cumin potatoes and samosas! They’ll make pretty much anything vegan (w/o butter or cream) if asked.
