The wonderful chef at Elysium Restaurant keeps you coming back with interest in what he is creating for the next menu! Tonight, I had a chicken and Italian sausage wrapped with the delicate skin of chicken and seasoned wonderfully bedding atop of ditalini and a delicate Italian sauce then topped with Parmigiana for a fantastic combination of flavor!

Very fine dining, excellent staff, attention to details, great wine and whiskey selection, indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a little confusing and they run out of menu items a bit early, but they have some of the smoothest Crème Brûlée desserts I've ever had. I'll definitely be back again.

We have been to Elysium for a few date nights and always have been really happy with the food and service. We chose to celebrate our anniversary there last night and it was such a special experience. There was a handwritten card on our table congratulating us and we were offered champagne to celebrate. We’ve always enjoyed our experience but this was incredible, truly above and beyond to make a memorable night. Definitely try this place!!!

Looking for somewhere to go in Kalamazoo where fine dinning is art. Are you looking for that wow factor on your first date and want to dress to impress. Look no futher....Elysium delivers all that and more. While I visit during the year, I make it a special day every year whenever it is restaurant week, to try out the new dishes their chefs have whipped up. I would highly recommend making this one of top eating spots.

This is a gem of a restaurant with a great menu that’s regularly updated. An imaginative ‘mock tail’ menu, a bar area and outdoor seating too. Plus they take bookings. I highly recommend people try this place. They have monthly events and tastings too.

Ok we eat out a lot and in this area have a number of great choices. This is a top choice! The service, the presentation and the taste / quality /uniqueness of each bc and every dish made for a great evening! Best steak tartare I have had since france!
How have I missed this place for almost 2 years?!? Great vibe, seasonal wine list, awesome craft cocktails, spectacular farm to table menu! We did the wine and small bite pairing: 10/10 recommend! The best part of the evening was the service. Hands. Downs. Carolina was our server and she made us feel at home and welcome, especially as first timers. She knew the menu in and out and was able to make recommendations for food and cocktails/wine together, which is, of course, what I LOVE!! Even though it was a slower night (maybe 6 tables total) Carolina was able to bring a vibrancy to the dinner that elevated it, making it feel like a Friday girls night! 12/10 recommend Caroline!Caroline also made fabulous menu recommendations, especially the dessert drink...she recommended the Kalamazoo something dessert drink (I'm so sorry I cannot remember the full name). This drink was like a creamy espresso martini, absolute chef's kiss! The one tiny criticism I have is the OTHER dessert cocktail was a major miss. The flavors are off and it tastes a bit chemically. Again, NOT MAJOR, but I know their people can make something really great.I would recommend this place 100 times over! I'm so happy to have found this gem for the upcoming summer, and beyond!

This was our second time at Elysium and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The dining area is intimate and comfortable, service spot on and food top notch. The menu changes daily and features locally sourced ingredients. I enjoyed that evenings scallop dish and my husband enjoyed the sea bass. Both were outstanding!

Sorry, no pictures. Forgot about that and got right to eating my amazing meal.Got the Flank Steak. Out of sight, super tender. Prepared medium and was indeed medium. Couldn't have been any better. And the Irish potato cakes underneath, super soft and just perfect.Never a bad meal at Elysium!
