I'm bias but the music and drinks were on point. Kat is an amazing person, a friend wanted a mojito and she made it happen despite not having all the ingredients!

I loved Green Door Distilling! Nate and I stopped in for a drink and ended up doing the tour, which they do on Fridays. The tour is $20 and it comes with a flight, which we were going to try anyway. Or you can just do the tour for $10 if you don't want a flight. It's not much of a "tour" in a physical sense as their production facility is small, in just one room, but we learned a lot about distilling in general, as well as a lot of information about the company and their products. I'd highly recommend it especially if you don't know much about the company. The interior has a 20s speakeasy feel, which I really liked. It's a little fancy but comfortable and welcoming. The drink menu was pretty large and it was tough for me to choose which drink I wanted after the flight. I ended up with the blueberry margarita because it was on happy hour. It was really great! Not too sweet. Nate got the cherry black Manhattan which we both enjoyed too. I loved the flight because we got to try pretty much all of the spirit offerings, including their amaro, Oaxacan green corn bourbon, and pink peppercorn gin, which were all unique and very tasty. Our bartender was knowledgable and very kind - great service. I'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere was so fun. The music was very vibey. You got to see in where they made the alcohol because the wall was all windows so it was cool to see the stills and barrels. The people were so nice and helpful. I tried the flight and each liquor I tried was so creative and so good. I didn’t try anything I didn’t like. I normally hate vodka & I was going to skip it but they encouraged me to try it & I ended up almost buying a bottle. I did leave with a bottle of their bourbon for Christmas for my brother. Each spirit had a cool story behind it. I look forward to going back and trying the new things. They had really creative cocktails too. It was such a treat to try something new. Can’t speak highly enough about the place and the 2 bartenders I talked to.

Exceptionally good liquors and mixed drinks. They are pricey, but well worth it. They don't have food, but you can order excellent food from Louie's across the street.

Green Door Distilling is a great addition to the Kalamazoo Downtown! The inside is decorated to give off modern speakeasy vibes. The menu has seasonally rotating specialty cocktails as well new takes on classic drinks. We had the pleasure of sampling some of their spirits and were thoroughly impressed! The Blueberry Lavender Liquor and Gin were definitely our favorites! All cocktail orders are done at the entry point of the bar. Bartenders then make your drink to bring to you. I recommend sitting at the bar to see how much does into a single cocktail and appreciate the bartender's expertise. Both of our cocktails were delicious and the cute water cups offered are a memento to bring home. Our only draw back was hearing some of the staff's conversations and personal remarks as they worked. Tip: The distillery offers tours on weekends to show the production process, allow guests to sample spirits, and get a more intimate interaction to ask questions.

The brewery I recently visited exceeded my expectations with its exceptional cocktail offerings. From the moment I walked in, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The cocktail menu showcased an impressive selection of creative concoctions, expertly crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and quality ingredients. Each sip revealed layers of complexity and sophistication, showcasing the mixologist's expertise. Whether it was their signature beer-infused cocktails or innovative twists on classic recipes, every drink was a delightful surprise. This brewery has truly mastered the art of cocktail making, making it a must-visit for any beverage enthusiast.Edit: The drink with the lime on the rim and green duck/ bathtub drink are both from Green Door’s new summer menu! Both were delicious.

Small hometown distillery which offer spirits that I don't see very common. Beside bourdon, gin and vodka. They have Amaro which is Italian.Inside has a good vibe to hangout and enjoy your drink. Bartender that greeted me are knowledgeable about their spirit which is very helpful. Their cocktail is colorful and has a good balance, also looks very good.

UPDATED 02/24/22: Still an amazing stop for wonderfully hand-crafted cocktails, local hospitality, and a welcoming environment. Try a flight to see what you think of their spirits, and then treat yourself to a delicious mixed or shaken beverage and taste their mastery at work.Love this place!!! Matt, Jake and the rest of the staff have always taken amazing care of me anytime I come in. Buying their liquor to-go anytime I am there because they cannot distribute at the moment. They sanitize between customers and have social distancing-conscious seating. Come try their awesome fall drink menu!

Absolutely adored the old owners/manager/bar crew. They made everyone feel like family and loved their community. We’ve been going for years… even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there! We just went recently a couple times with the new owners and yikes has it changed. The bathroom door doesn’t work and it smells like an out house. The outdoor area is nice, but the cocktails aren’t nearly as good. When we saw the new manager she never greeted us, she just mingles with other owners or her friends. Where as Matt used to greet and serve and was a very hands on manager. The cocktails before were pricey, but you got top notch service and drinks so I was okay with that! But now? The drinks aren’t good enough to pay that much money or wait 20 minutes for them (when we were the only people at the bar). So meh. Sad to see what it’s become. Can’t say it’s terrible? But not for us now.

Went there last minute date night with the hubby. Great mixed drinks, loved the bourbon, the witches brew drink, the atmosphere and the mixologists. Very personable and friendly. Would definitely go there again.
