I tried to call ahead as my lunch break is short. I called at 11:55am and he told me I couldn't order because they don't open until noon. REALLY?! it's 5 minutes! You can't write it down and start it at noon? I guess you don't want my $50 🤘 Someone else will.

My first time in for my daughter and myself. Greg was professional and personable. Everything from the loaded fries, chicken and sweet potatos to the stuffing and Kool aid tasted like gooooood home cooking. The place was cute and super clean too. I will be back on Sunday for some ox tails

I saw this place pop up on my Instagram feed. It was just hour an hour away from me, so I went. Well it was definitely worth the drive! The owner was very friendly and everything was well seasoned. I had the jerk chicken and it was nice and juicy without the jerk sauce! The mac and cheese was on point. Definitely will be making the drive back to Kalamazoo to visit Greg's again.

My husband brought me here as a request for my birthday and the owner himself helpled us pick everything we had to eat. I had a loaded frie appetizer and seasfood platter. My husband had the BBQ chicken mac. Thank you Greg!! We wilk be back

Reply to restaurant response: first of all...I know soul food this isn't It. Like I said smothering everything with cajun flavoring and the food was old. You can fool the locates!!!! We should have returned it but that's what I get for trying to support certain businesses, your business...now, what. I have the right to complain about bad food and on that specific night the food was TRASH!!!!!!!!!! $80 worth garbage!!!!!
I'm new to this area of Michigan and can’t find any good restaurants pass Ann Arbor to Chicago. So, at work, my coworkers suggested Greg Gourmet. I spent $80 on my dinners-smothered catfish dinner, jerk chicken paste and shrimp pasta. Every meal was disgusting. Catfish had so much piled on it, terrible. I had the jerk chicken pasta with chicken so charred it was not edible. My daughter had shrimp pasta that reeked of fish so bad. The pasta in all of our dishes were undercooked even in the macaroni. The only thing that tasted good is the Cajun seasoning and sauce they used to cover everything up with. Another bad restaurant smh…why is it so hard to find a good restaurant in the Kalamazoo and surrounding areas.

Upon first entering the restaurant, I noticed the cleanliness. ✔️ The owner himself greeted me w/ a smile and prepared to box my freshly cooked catfish, and greens. My meal held up well during travel. ✔️ Everything was seasoned well. The hush puppies were honey-glazed and tasty! A friend had the greens (w/ smoked turkey) and said they were delicious! The catfish breading was the perfect ratio of crunchy/crispy/seasonings. The blue Koolaid was a perfect finish. Highly recommend Gregg’s Gourmet! Great service, fresh & delicious food- can’t beat it! ✔️
