I typically do not bother to post a negative review. My experience last Saturday was personally embarrassing. The truffle fries were delivered yo our table cold. I asked for fresh hot fries and was given a second batch slightly warmer than room temperature. We had nearly finished our appetizers and ours without our entree order even being taken. The bar tender saw this and good on him for stepping from behind the counter to help out. It felt like our original server got busy and forgot about us. After about 15 mins of our order being taken our food had not been served to us, I inquired about the status and said it seemed like other patrons who were sat after us were getting their food ahead of us. Our original server chastised me saying that it’s only been 15 minutes since our order was taken. Our food was as served about 10 minutes after that. The burgers were hot and very tasty. When the bill came I asked if there can be any consideration for the service, at this point we had been there for two hours. In front of everyone, staff, and patrons I was told I was bringing rude and disrespectful. I apologized and asked what did I do that was rude, hadn’t raised my voice, no vulgarity. She said I was disrespectful when I said others are getting their good ahead of my table. I accept that I could be wrong, about the timing of the food, but I certainly was not rude. She berated me in front of everyone told me she was done with conversation, as I was trying apologize for any perceived rudeness. I paid the bill in full. But I was thoroughly humiliated.
Get the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It's worth it.

A group of us came here to celebrate finding a wedding dress across the street. Service was terrible. We waited a while for even water. Our drinks came at the same time as our food. We were never checked on and had taken 20-30min to get our bill. Food was okay. We got loaded Bloody Marys at the chicken wings were terrible and wish we would have just paid for the standard bloodys. One of the serves just continued to talk to a couple at the bar although we were right behind them trying to get service. Really bummed as we were looking to celebrate and have a great time.

I don’t leave reviews often but I felt compelled to this time! We had a fantastic meal and had the pleasure of meeting Seth tonight. You won’t find a more charismatic guy just doing his job. We mistook him for an owner even! He went out of his way to make a simple dinner a stop worth leaving a review for. He told us about the entertainment district and even recommended some cool places to check out while we are in town. If you’re trying to figure out where to stop for some food and music tonight give this place a shot. (Try the Phantom fries!)

Stopped in late recently. This restaurant was solid. Our waiter/bartender was great, thorough and you can tell he really cared. He made one of the best old fashioneds. Food was better than meals we had at higher end places in the area. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in on a snowy weekday afternoon. Nice tall ceilings and plenty of seating at tables, booth and bar. Plenty of beverage options and full bar. Good looking menu. Our Cesar salad was dynamite, we added chicken. We also got the pretzel which was better than I was expecting and the cheese sauce made it even better. Enough TVs and good vibes.

The food was mostly acceptable, but quite pricey. I had the olive burger. It was fine except for the piece of olive pit I bit into, for $16 I'd give it a 6/10. My fiance got the fish and chips. The exterior was crunchy, but the batter was so thick that it was not cooked all the way through. The interior of the batter was wet and gluey, completely soaked with grease. For $22 I'd give it 1/10, practically inedible. We asked if they had any kids options for our son, none of which are listed on the menu. We were told yes, and one of the options we were given was chicken strips; $14 for quite a large portion. More than I'd like to spend for a kids meal, but the portion was quite large, so that's the trade off.
Service was slightly below average, not particularly friendly but not entirely off-putting. Despite there not being many other patrons the service was a bit slow when trying to pay and leave.
Music was very loud; they have a digital jukebox and I'm convinced it plays annoying music to encourage patrons to buy songs. There are also televisions everywhere, for sports and gambling. Might be fun with friends if you're into that, but I wouldn't go here for a date or family dinner.
Overall it seems like this place is trying hard to please everyone, but loses its identity in the process. Is it a sports bar? Kind of. A gastropub? Trying to be, perhaps. A dance club? Certainly not, but the volume and selection of music might convince you otherwise. If you can handle the atmosphere and don't pick the wrong dish, you might enjoy yourself here.

We tried several of their holiday special cocktails and they have a great mixologist because every cocktail we tried was dangerously delicious. We had a very hard time deciding on what to eat because many things sounded good. Ultimately we got a pretzel for an appetizer, the black and bleu steak, the sweet and spicy burger, the pesto ravioli and the fish and chips. We also good a couple different salads. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. I can't recommend this place enough.

Stopped in for cocktails and appetizers. We were greeted right away and we asked about a specialty cocktail my friend saw on Facebook. Seth made me the most delicious Caramel Espresso martini topped with a little stroopwaffle! I also tried the Egg Nog White Russian which was delicious! Service was fantastic and great atmosphere to gab with my bestie. Seth was fantastic!

I've gone to High Dive four or five times now with my fiancee. The food has always been delicious. The cocktails are some of the best in town.
Tonight we got two dishes to share and the food was brought out split on separate plates without having to ask. Cocktails were on point, made with care. We ended with tequila shots and the bartender brûléed orange slices for us to chase. 10/10 no complaints.
A great option for a step up from your normal dive/haunt for date night.
