I love Kyoto! This is my favorite sushi place in Kalamazoo and I have not had one bad experience here. I go here for dates, catch ups, and business meetings. The two servers i get most often are Makayla (I think) and Ivan who are both phenomenal.

I’ve gotten sushi from Kyoto for many years now. For a while I considered it “solid” sushi but a definite step below others. I continued to get it because of its convenient location. However the past year or two I’ve noticed a definite step up in their sushi game. Their signature rolls are downright delicious. I’m very pleased with the marked improvement. Well done!

Had take out. Ordered Steak Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi. Got to work only had 2 shrimp. Called them and was told. They can't do anything about it. Laughed nd hungup phone

We had an absolutely excellent experience at Kyoto. -Good tasting food and drinks -Wide variety of sushi choices -Amazing service by Luna -Luna was really friendly, and just giving you the good vibes all the time. The food, atmosphere and service is 10/10!
Horrible service, table across from ours was seated after and got served first. We ordered appetizers and came together with dinner. Chef started to cook food before we received the appetizer, soup and salad
