We have always enjoyed this restaurant so much. But this past Saturday, the staff and especially the manager Jessica went above and beyond for my parents 49th anniversary. I cannot say enough great things about Martellls. Never had a bad meal, drink, or most importantly service. Wonderful experience and establishment. Thank you.

Disappointing experience. Wine was delicious, the Manhattan was watery. The appetizers we ordered were not good. The dip was not even hot when served to us. We had to ask for bread. As we were eating, the used dishes were not removed from the table so that our entrees could be sat down. I had to hold some of the used dishes and start stacking them to make room for the entrees. The server seemed too busy to check on our table/refill our waters. We heard and read really great reviews so we were very disappointed in the experience.

We ordered drinks, a starter, and two entrees. one drink got mixed up with a different table, but it got corrected. My boyfriend got prime rib and said it was good. I got pasta but it was bland. It tasted like buttered noodles. I took 3 bites to try to taste flavor, but I couldn’t taste any, so I had my boyfriend try a bite to see if my taste buds were “off” but he said it had no flavor. I knew I wasn’t going to eat it, so I slid the dish to my side so I could go back to my drink, but the server noticed right away and came over to ask, I told him it was bland but I just said to box it up and I’d eat it later, because I didn’t want to complain. He kindly just took it off the bill and offered several other options a few times when he checked back, but I had lost my appetite unfortunately. The food everyone else had looked good & smelled really good though.

Wonderful experience for my wife's birthday dinner in front of the fireplace. Meatballs and mushroom soup were out of this world.....truly the best I've ever had (we only ordered those appetizers because of wonderful input from friends). The ravioli with blackened chicken and prime rib were absolutely topnotch. Cara our sever was too. We'll definitely be returning!

Had a nice date night with my girlfriend! It was a first time for both of us and enjoyed everything. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and our waitress was attentive the whole time. I would love to comeback in the warmer months when the patio is open, but the warm fireplace was definitely a pretty center peace for a January night.
Tried this for out for an anniversary dinner after not being able to secure a reservation with our usual upscale dining restaurant. The interior was beautiful, and quaint with the scenery of the frozen lake, I was in awed at the view. Until we were stuck in a corner staring at their buildings wall, where only one of us could comfortably see the view of the lake. (Specifically told them it was our anniversary.) Service started out fine, the bread was hard, almost stale, while other tables next to us was served fresh out of the oven bread. Stuffed mushrooms were extremely one note with no complexity or real flavor. Risotto was swimming in a pool of olive oil and upset my partners stomach. My pasta was severely undercooked to nearly a paste when I chewed. Meat was tender and flavorful sauce was bland as well with no depth. As we rounded near 5, service picked up and it was clear their servers fell behind as it took us nearly 20 minutes to get our check and leave. Overall a poor experience at a beautiful restaurant, don’t recommend if you’re looking for a good Italian meal, or special dinner.
