I was planning to have my sisters' 50th bday. Tried 5 times to make a reservation and kept leaving a message with hostess. After the 5th time the manager just answered very rudely that they didn't have room that day and that they left a message to notify me (not a single message or missed call from them )I guess we won't be coming here anytime soon

Atomphese is great, wait staff inexperience and was to busy to bring bread, we had to ask for - seeing another table receive it. Waited long time to order, the food was not that great, all was served at room temperature. I didn't want to complain to the very overwhelmed server, we would take our food home and heat up for dinner tommrow. The ceasar salad in parmesan bowl was the best part of the meal. The tiramisu dessert was just ok.I won't go back, not worth the money spent.

Was visiting from out of town to celebrate a special event. Was hopeful after seeing martells has multiple 5 star glowing reviews. Once inside was further excited by the pleasing atmosphere and water views. Unfortunately, it went downhill from here. Saw some recommendations for the fried ravioli, decided to give it a try. Menu stated the raviolis would be on a bed of “sweet and spicy tomato jam” it was barbecue sauce. really disappointing for the steep price. The meet inside the raviolis was mush. The waitress forgot to give us bread until after our appetizers were finished, the bread once arrived late was decent. Ordered prime rib, which was mostly fat and gristle. No one was clearing our dishes they just piled up on our table, finally someone who appears to be a manager noticed and removed our dishes once dessert was on the table. The torte and tiramisu were delicious but pricey. We did still tip as we were not sure if the waitress forgot about us or was overworked. If you go to martells, only go for atmosphere bread and dessert. Not service or dinner!

Beautiful views of the water and great fireplaces to sit near. There are some tables with very comfy arm chairs too. Food is delicious! If you like lots of flavors, you'll really be pleased. Service was pretty good, but could have been more attentive. It may have been a little understaffed while we were there.

Food is great, service has always been fine and the ambiance is very nice and welcoming. One of my favorites to go to date night at. A little pricy, but worth it.

Looking for a new place in KZoo and was craving Italian, ended up here. Service was fantastic, sat at the bar. Sounded like a lot of regulars around me. The mushroom soup was great, I'd like it a tad thicker but flavor was spot on. Went with the rigatoni, and wanted some ital sausage as well. Pasta and sausage were both 5/5. Bolognese sauce was 3 ish. I did like the bread rolls that come with the dinner. Had 2 glasses of the house wine - very nice, but pricey. There is no question I'll be back. But, when the 2 glasses of wine is more expensive than my entree with add on and soup, that's an issue. Food and service is solid. Next time I'll stick with a sandwich and a draft, but it will still be good.

The brie starter was an abomination - very low quality cheese, a strange jam smothered on top and some crackers. It should be prepared with fresh herbs and garlic plus fresh crusty bread. Very disappointing. My main was roasted chicken. The chicken wasn't too bad if a little dry. My main issue was no potato sides were included and they only had fries and mash to add on as extras. There was a strange vegetable mixture with a tasteless sauce/ gravy underneath. I haven't been in 10 years and now won't be returning unless the owners change. Absolutely terrible food. There was virtually no atmosphere as the place was empty. Service wasn't bad.
