They are too short staffed to adequately wait on anyone. They had "no one" to work the cash register. We had to wait quite a while to be waited on. The employees weren't rude, but they were harried and hurried. I feel sorry for them. Those employees need a raise for the inadequacies of Franchises that don't put more effort into retaining staff. Treat your employees well and they may just stay. Yes, I understand there are some who don't want to work, but a healthy work environment where everyone is positive and team oriented can pull a lot of employees into actually enjoying coming to work.Parking: The driveway was packed. There was only one car when we got there.

Went here for an order. Not only was my food cold and hard they got my order wrong and forgot all my sauces and told me I could substitute the McFlurry I ordered for cookies because they couldn’t make the McFlurry. I get the food and the cookies were missing and so were the sauces and the extra ones I paid for. I go wait again in line and more than ten minutes later I get to the drive through and they say they’re closed. Per the website and their app they’re open until 11PM. As you can see this will post BEFORE 11PM. But I asked for my sauces and the cookies and I was told that’s not possible and then Alisha decided to start swearing because I asked that what was promised to me be honored. If you can’t follow through on a promise don’t make it. I called the manager to let her know her employees are swearing at customers. Nothing will come of it I’m sure but I worry if they’re willing to put up with an employee acting like that towards a customer, I fear how their other employees behave. Doesn’t shed a good light on McDonald’s as a whole and I for one question the integrity and standards of the employees who work there.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly when a McDonald’s employee swears at me in front of my son.

I've been meaning to review this location for a long time. Absolute hands down best McD's in Kalamazoo for everything, especially the vanilla iced coffee. I'm here minimum 3 days a week & line is super fast except they get a little busy for dinner. No matter the time of day or night consistently good food, iced coffee, & service. No matter who makes my coffee they train to do it the same way & I never have to worry about my vanilla iced coffee ever! Sugar free, light syrup, it doesn't matter how I ask to make it. We rarely go to McDonald's anymore but we were hungry and stopped in here, and you need to give this one a try! The staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The food was actually the best McDonald's food I have had in many years! Even when we in the parking lot leaving, we could smell the burgers cooking as if they were grilling them on an outside grill. Again, I must emphasize how nice the staff are. If you're driving west it's hard to see the sign but it's near the main road (West Main) right in front of Menards.

Cross your fingers if you want a frappe. The machine is "down" a lot. It is at all locations, not just this one. If using a code, make sure they have the item first because if they don't, then your app locks and shows that u already used it. The guy taking my order said "it happens a lot on the app". Okay...? So that just means you're out.
