My friend and I went to Roxies this morning for breakfast and had a lovely experience with the couple of servers that were there. We overheard a couple customers complaining and the waitress explain to them that they were extremely understaffed and actually only had two servers available at the moment! My friend and I still had an amazing experience and they were so kind and polite and apologetic for the wait times which both of us work in retail and don't mind because the food, the prices, and the service is so amazing that the wait is a small price to pay for the great atmosphere! I don't live in Michigan so I won't be back soon but whenever I do visit I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

I ordered a breakfast quesadilla with NO bacon, it came loaded with it. I HATE bacon!!! We won’t be back!!! My husband and daughter had breakfast, I didn’t!!! By the time they would have brought mine, I’d be eating alone. Going down the street from now on. Won’t be back!!!

Hubby had a longish doctor's appointment at Borgess, so I decided to treat myself with a late breakfast. Found Roxie' a short way down Gull Road. Great experience from the start. I had parked and couldn't see the door, but a regular customer came out and guided me in and introduced me to the server. The waitress/server told me about the menu items (pancakes would be large, waffles sweet, etc.) I settled on the biscuits and gravy meal with bacon, eggs, and hash browns on the side. Within ten minutes the delicious meal was at the table. Most pleasant retaurant experience I have had in awhile. The inside was clean and roomy, the staff obviously cared about their customers, food was great. I will return again next time I have a Borgess visit. Thank you also to the kind customer who helped me feel welcome both before and after. BTW, Roxie's should change the restaurant photo. It is not Michelle's.

Hats off to our server Crystal for not only being awesome, but also handling the four problem customers seated near us with complete professionalism, I almost gave them my opinion on why your servers race doesn't effect your food quality but the lovely Crystal handled it like a pro! Good job Crystal I would probably not handled it as well as you did,big tip for you!

Servers and staff seem extremely busy, borderline hectic, but staff works very hard to seat guests quickly. Food wait time was average. Delicious breakfast. Pancakes are massive - definitely worth a try.
