I love Namsan :) I get the Tofu Kimchi (which completely changed my opinions on both kimchi and tofu) and my favorite sides that come with it are the radish and cucumber kimchi! Prices might look a little expensive for a single dish, but they can easily feed two people.
Everything is very clean and tidy inside and the wait staff have always been very kind and prompt with their service.

Kalamazoo, if you haven't been here you are missing a gem. Sure the outside looks a little worn, but the dining area was very clean. I started with a shrimp shumei, then some spicy pork korean bbq. Everything came out temperature hot. The spice palette on the pork was phenomenal. Spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. Served with white rice, pickled green beans, bean sprouts and kimchi. I was so full but could not stop eating! It was that good. Come support local and get some of the best Korean food I've had in a while! You won't be disappointed.

Loved everything about my experience here. Delicious food, that feels like it's made with love. The staff was very pleasant and were nothing but smiles. This places feels slept on, but certainly deserves the communities businesses. 10/10. Will be back.

Probably the best tteokboki I’ve had so far. Price is super fair for the amount of food you get. We both took to-go boxes home and it was all very yummy!

The food was excellent. As good as what we had in S.Korea this summer. The service was great. We enjoyed chatting with the owner too.

Don’t overthink it. Come here. The absolute best takeout I have EVER had, so much food, and well priced for the quality. The interior is cozy and it smells amazing. I can’t speak to the restaurant service but the woman at the desk was helpful and welcoming. I’ll be back soon!

My wife and I were excited to try Namsan bc it had been a long time since the last time. We ordered mandu and takbeokki to start. Mandu was crispy and hot. The teokbokki was not what we were used to. The sauce was thin and it came with glass noodles but it was tasty and spicy. The entrees also offered some diversion from the traditional. The bibimbap came with a strange sauce in a ketchup bottle that was not gochujang. We asked for gochujang and our server asked us if we wanted the 'real' gochujang. I guess other patrons don't like gochujang? I had the Chinese dish, jaejaengmyeun and it too had a thinner than expected black bean sauce. All other ingredients and taste were fine.

Just DEVOURED an entire bowl of beef bibambap and my taste buds are SINGING. Our server, Steve, was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming, and the food was delectable. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing literally anything on the menu. Also - they have kimchi to go so I’ll be enjoying that for the next few days!

The woman who owns the restaurant and waits on tables is rude and blatantly treats customers differently based on their race. She seated my mother and brother in a cramped booth despite the fact that I explicitly asked for a more spacious table that was open at the time (restaurant was nearly empty). She did not come over ONCE to check on us or refill our waters, though she repeatedly did so for white customers. She was cold and impatient with our family when taking our orders, but was patient and exceedingly polite to white customers. After we left and inspected our receipts, we found that she added at least $1 to the listed menu price of every item we ordered. We have been coming here for years, but we will not be back as long as this owner continues this discriminatory treatment. She should be ashamed of herself.
