DO NOT LET THE EXTERIOR FOOL YOU!This spot was an absolutely delicious Korean mom and pop spot. We were heading to a different place to eat but due to construction we decided last minute to pull off into Namsan. Although a little hesitant to get out judging from the exterior of the building itself and surrounding look of the buildings in the area, I was so glad we went in.The service was impeccable, we got the Bulgogi Hotpot to share and the lady stood right there guiding us through the experience, as well explaining to us how to traditionally eat the Bibimbap with the house made sauce. The kimchi was to die for! So fresh and flavorful. K Pop chicken was a delight. Everything was just so dang good.I only have a 3 star for atmosphere due to the exterior and overall appearance of the building and neighborhood. Don't let the outside steer you away.Vegetarian options: I would say pretty much half of the options here can be done vegetarian and you wouldn't even miss the meatKid-friendliness: Absolutely a kid friendly spot, plenty of open seating for easy in and out

This gem looks is very unassuming from the outside. The food was PHENOMENAL and well worth a trip back. We shared the bulgogi dolsat bibimbap and hot pot, spicy pork, shrimp shumai which all came with a variety of kimchi and cucumbers. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

Came here for the first time with my fiancé and soon to be mother in law. The exterior is a bit unassuming, but then inside you see a cute interior with fans, Korean writing on the windows and pictures of Korea. It's cool! Service was great, the waitress was very kind and happy. We started off with the K Pop Chicken. It was good, had a nice crisp to it and that chili sauce was good. But what we really came for and what I was excited for was the hot pots. I'd been wanting to try a hot pot for awhile. We got the bulgogi hot pot. It was absolutely delicious! That broth is so good as well as everything in else that's in it! And to me it's satisfying to watch it bubble. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Amazing Korean food for a great price. Stopped here during my 1 night in Kalamazoo and ordered the BBQ chicken and my girlfriend had the jap chae. I’d definitely recommend the BBQ chicken for any spicy food

It was a very lovely place and the staff was very nice. The food was excellent too!! My mom, who had never had Korean food before, was very nervous about things being too spicy, and the waitress was very kind about making her dish non-spicy just for her. I personally love spice, so I ordered the spicy calamari. It was a really aesthetically pleasing dish, and not overcooked which is very easy to do with octopus. Overall, an awesome experience.

Ordered:1) Gyoza (5pc) - it's literally deep-fried "rubber"2) Bibimbap (bulgogi) - It's fresh, yet there are no sauces, the fried egg tastes like it was done in the morning instead of just before picking up for dinner, and the sides are a joke, "green beans"..really?3) Shrimp shumai - It's fresh, but no sauces and blandLived in Dallas, Arlington, and west coast...wouldn't recommend this place.

hard working family servicing you is always a welcome experience. K pop chicken had a unique saw only disappointment was jajangmyeong (blackbean noodles) which was a little too soupy...had the urge and drove 70 miles for it so somewhat

I've been wanting to try authentic Korean food for a while, so I drove over an hour to try Namsan. It did not disappoint! A fairly small restaurant, but all the food was extremely delicious.
