I only went to pick up a carry out pizza and the staff was awful! Stood there for nearly 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. There were 5 staff members just standing around ignoring me, a manager hanging out in the office and even an 8 year old child just lollygagging around the pizza oven. I hate to give bad reviews but as a person that has worked at papa John's in the past (different location) I just felt like it was really rude and hope this review encourages staff to simply do better.

I recently ordered from here and I was not impressed. Our pizza was supposed to have lite sauce instead it had extra sauce, they forgot to make our breadsticks so I had to wait around for them to be made while the pizza got cold. I am very disappointed with this location and I will not be back.

Placed an order at 6:45pm, they said it would be ready at 7:20-7:30. I arrived at 7:30 & my pizza was not even made yet. Waited until 8 to call & cancel my order. Waited on the phone for 15 minutes no answer, ended up calling customer service & they told me the manager at the store has to approve the refund since I did not receive my food. Smh

Was recently in here for a delivery took them over an hour to get me my pizza and the whole time it was behind the counter done I was being ignored and walked away from. I was in here multiple times and each time there's like 20 other dashers in the lobby and it takes over an hour. WE HAVE BILLS TO PAY

The man on night shift with the dreads needs a raise! He was in the kitchen by himself popping out orders left and right and on top of that he kept a good attitude. Food was great too and he gave me extra garlic. Idk what theyre paying him but its not enough

I don't recommend this location Papa John's very rude over the phone they put too much sauce that ingredients so the pizza was very much soggy by the time it got here and the box was open and very much cold when my mother called to express the conditions of the pizza she got greeted disrespectfully I tried to call to handle it but I also was greeted disrespectfully saying that we still had to pay a delivery fee when the person that I talked to the day before said that we didn't have to pay anything because it wasn't our fault they take full accountability but the next day when we try to redeem it nobody knew what we were talking about very angry and disrespectful like it came out there other than out there pocket they're never wrong so no I don't recommend nor want anybody that I know eating there which they aren't 🤢👎

During a recent delivery at the Papa John’s on stadium dr in Kalamazoo, I politely pointed out that delivery drivers make very little per order and frustration shouldn’t be punished. In response, the manager ignored my comment, canceled my order, and locked me out.
Another Dasher present even noted and laughed that this behavior could be reportable, and the manager then canceled their order as well. When the police arrived, they acknowledged that this location has ongoing issues with order handling and that DoorDash frequently issues refunds due to repeated problems.
This behavior was clearly retaliatory, unprofessional, and unsafe, showing a complete lack of managerial oversight. Actions like this hurt delivery drivers, customers, and the store’s reputation, and highlight that proper management and accountability are urgently needed.

The manager is ungodly rude and needs to find a different job if she's going to treat and talk to the customers the way that she does. The employees seem to have a hard time in high pace environments but I blame management. Pizza was cold and had to be a reorder that I almost didnt get. The second one they made was okay but the driver still had a hard time finding my house. Id just go to dominoes on the other side of town for better prices and ingredients at this point lol
