Came here about a year and a half ago and our pizza was very badly burnt. We told them and they didn't do anything. Today I was thinking about giving them another chance, but the number they have listed is incorrect so we couldn't.

Literally the best pizza place in Kalamazoo! You must try it. The big difference with this place is the FRESHNESS of ALL the ingredients. They offer vegan pizza. They offer pizzas, garlic knots, focaccia and even Chicken wings. Gotta try it!

Pizza was great (half banana pepper and bacon, half green pepper)! Service was great! We dined in, which I think was an unconventional way to enjoy this pizza. It seems that customers rarely dine in here, but the employees were patient and very accommodating. Unfortunately, it seems that Pizza Katerina is closing or is being sold. I hope to visit again soon.

Came to Kalamazoo to run errands and since my picky young child wanted pizza, we came here based on overall score reviews. Soon as we walked in, my daughter went straight to the toy pizza station. She had so much fun creating pizza while we waited for our order.
The place is pretty small and cramped with commercial grade kitchen equipment pushed against the windows. While our pizza was baking, mine and my husband’s eyes started burning, until we realized it’s their pizza oven. Not sure if they had any vent and even if they did, it may have not been sufficient enough for ventilation.
We were gonna eat our order inside, but our eyes were burning too much, so we left to the nearest park to eat it and gave our child a chance to play at the playground as well. It was just about a mile, 6 minutes down the road. The pizza was amazing!! Thank goodness it didn’t have a chance to become soggy during the transport. The sauce was well-balanced and just the right amount of it. The bottom crust, just a tad charred. My favorite part was the crust!! Perfect chewiness, crispiness, and thickness! I would come back again, if given the chance.

Great little pizza restaurant in Kalamazoo with a lot of unique menu items. We've tried the Thai pizza and the curry chicken pizza, which were both limited time items. Both were really good, especially the Thai one, which is a great option for vegetarians.
From the normal menu, we tried the pepperoni pizza that has black garlic and hot honey. It was really, really good. Probably my favorite pepperoni pizza in town. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth trying!

This place was highly recommended so we were excited to try it. We thought Valentines Day might be a quiet night for pizza orders but when trying to call them it went straight to an un-set up vm so we drove over. Sign said open but upon entering they said they were having some issues and closing early. OK. We placed an order a couple nights later and not a fan. The bottom of my pizza was burnt so I had to scrape off the ingredients and just eat it crustless. The other pizza we ordered was not burnt. Overall they were just meh - a little too salty for us with not a lot of sauce. Just ok but we won’t be back.
There is a reason PK is considered the best pizza in town. Mel is fantastic at her craft and is such a warm and wonderful person. The pizza is REALLY GOOD!

We had a larger to go order. It was delicious! We recommend the Jalapeño Popper Pizza and the Mushroom Madness. But we also built our own and did a cheese pizza. All were amazing.

I'm a certified, NY trained Chef, eaten pizza at more places than I can count, and Mel makes one serious pie! The crust is perfect; the chewiness is sublime, and the flavor is next-level. The sauce, also perfect. Not acidic, but not sweet either. Just great balance. And you can tell she uses premium cheese. I just can't get enough!
And I hate to mention this, but her bread loaf is to-die-for! It makes the absolute best grilled cheese, french toast and croutons!
