Quekas Authentic Mexican Food

Just passing through Kalamazoo, we were looking for a Mexican place with decent vegetarian options. I was so impressed by their vegan offerings! The vegan sopes and vegan tostada were fantastic! My husband ordered the Carne Asada and thought it was really good, authentic, and delicious. We also split a queso dip that was everything you'd want it to be. If we find ourselves out that way again, we will likelu make a point to return!

Watch YouTube and learn how to make authentic Mexican food at home. Me and my family use to go but the last time we went there it was just me and one of my kids, we got pretty sick from the food so we stopped going. That was about 5 years ago.

I hope they come back. The food was great and they had better menu options than most restaurant's in town - including vegetarian options. I miss this restaurant a lot.

It was amazing. Amazing tacos. Amazing horchata. Amazing elote. Our waitress was super nice. Let me practice my Spanish. I am new to the town and looked up this place based on the reviews and let me tell you it is worth 10 stars. Would highly recommend to ANYONE visiting town. Worth the trip.

Delicious food, good prices & very friendly staff! Will definitely go back!

Pitstopped at this one on the way back to Chicago from Detroit. It's definitely a hole in the wall and bit of a drive off the highway, but worth it. I grabbed a variety of street style tacos. Choice of various meats topped with onion and cilantro on two corn tortillas. Served with red and green salsa in a plastic container ready to be poured on for every bite. My only complaint would be that my horchata tasted a bit over sweet with some undertone of another fruit as if the serving machine had been previously used for some other agua fresca. Small star deducted, but overall I thought the food was great!Will definitely think of this spot the next time I'm travelling between Chicago & Detroit and could use some leg stretches and tacos.'Til next time, cheers!

First time eating here and was better than I thought staff was so friendly and the food was so so good very authentic

I've ate here twice had the steak tacos Mexican style. Mmmm mmm!!! Then I had the chicken enchilada with beans and rice. It wasn't a traditional enchilada I've had in time past. It was pretty much a corn taco folded like a taco with salsa and cheese drizzled; but this didn't take away from the great taste and presentation. Both experiences were great. Pleasant waitress friendly environment. I'll be back ?

This is truly the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve found in Kalamazoo. Every bite is SEASONED and delicious. Order anything from their Birria menu and you will not be disappointed. The couple who owns and runs the place are excellent hosts and very kind.

Loved the corn on the cob appetizer. Got a Mexican shrimp cocktail for later!
