Best food! I always come here whenever I miss home. The Ayam Goreng Mentega is one of my favorite dish there. Owners are friendly too. Overall, recommended!
It's disappointing when the closing time is listed as 8 PM, but they actually close at 7 PM, so be aware if you're planning to visit around 7. Additionally, the behavior of the young guy was unprofessional and disrespectful; his manner suggested he was doing us a favor by serving us.

I feel bad, as I love supporting local restaurants and the food here is pretty good. However, the service is consistently underwhelming. 50% of the time I try to place a pickup order in the hour before closing, the call goes straight to a full voicemail. This is not really a dine-in place, which is fine, but they are very inconsistent with their availability. I usually end up going to Rice Kitchen instead, which is lesser quality, and a different type of Asian food than what I wanted, but their hours are consistent and they are set up well for pickup and delivery.
Their menu says that the beef curry that I ordered was just under eight dollars. I got there to pick it up, and they charged me over twelve dollars for it. Then the card terminal where you pay is one of the ones that asks for a tip. Some nerve. When I ate my food, most of the beef was overcooked and some pieces still had chewy fat on them. Gross. I won't eat there again.

Interesting... Showed up 40 minutes before there closing time and they said the kitchen was closed so we politely turned around and left. We happen to be a white couple and wouldn't think that matters. But when seeing what looked to be a Malaysian couple come in about 10-15 minutes behind us(we were sitting in the parking lot looking up other restaurants open)... They are handed a menu and go have a seat in the restaurant. Looking like the kitchen just opened back up for them?I would love to hear an explanation for this. In the meantime... I plan to avoid that place like the plague.

The best Indonesian/Malaysian food in the state!!!! Love taking with the owners great people. I drove 3 hours to get there food..
Small unassuming restaurant in small unassuming strip mall that serves Malaysian and Indonesian fare.
I was in Kalamazoo for the day so I thought I would stop in and try it. I had the beef rendang and a curry puff. I was not disappointed.
