Rio was a life saver at Dokidokon. They have plenty of energy drinks, cold bottles Starbucks, snacks, beer/wine and some KZoo souvenirs. It was nice to have a place to buy a quick snack or drink without paying Starbucks prices. The staff is friendly and I liked the lack of lines so I could get my items quickly. I personally was drinking gaterade and eating their cheese sticks like I would die without them. I liked the novelty items although I didn't buy any because I would rather spend my cash in the venders room.

Good variety of gifts and quick snacks- perfect for a Radisson Hotel!

As gift shops go, this one's not bad. They really do focus on local and Michigan products which is super cool. You can build your own six pack of local beers, try out locally made popcorn, or grab an apparel or jewelry gift featuring the hand-shaped state. They also carry Kalamazoo Candle Co. Candles and damn handsome brand beer soap, which is also made in Kalamazoo. I really wish they still had Sydney Boutique across the way from them. I feel like Hotel of this caliber really ought to have a stellar flagship store like that.

Rio is a coffee shop-meets-convenience store-meets-gift shop located directly on the first floor of the Radisson. I thought it was going to be more expensive (y'know, cause it seems like the kind of place that might cater to people who don't want to search for what they need out in the great wide open, or are desperate for that last minute whatever) so I avoided it at first, but it's actually pretty reasonably priced! If you (for example)... - need a coffee (they serve Starbucks drinks, too, so we're not talking gas station java; we're talking soy lattes, iced cold brews, etc.) - need a snack (whether you're looking for a salad, a bag of chips, or locally-made fudge, you're going to be able to satiate whatever craving it is you have) - need a Kalamazoo themed hoodie (I really want a KZoo hoodie or t-shirt, but when I saw them through the window I assumed they were out of my price range. The t-shirts were only $16ish the last time I was there!) - need a health and beauty item (I spent a pretty penny in an airport for forgotten toiletries when I came to KZoo last - next time, I'll just stock up here). ... you'll find it here. Definitely the kind of place you want and appreciate in a business-oriented hotel!

Decaf Coffee with a decaf espresso is called a "hammerhead." I call it pointless.
