I have yet to have food there, so I can't rate that. However, if the food is anything like the atmosphere, service or drinks, it'll be solid. I work a lot of shows with IPW and this venue ALWAYS treats us well! ?
Attended the battle of the bands event this past Friday evening, and the acoustics in the backroom exceeded my expectations. The sound was well-balanced, and it was really neat to see a variety of different acts, especially Dead People Park, who had quite a unique Shoegazey vibe. All of the staff were attentive, and the food was pretty aight too (had a chicken quesadilla yummm)!
Came here yesterday with my fiance after finding out that Comensoli's was reservation-only. It was literally just across the street so we figured we'd give it a try. Our waitress was super nice, she even did table service when they don't typically do that, according to her. I got the triple decker club. It actually wasn't that bad.
