We ordered food and never got it. Our server admitted to forgetting to put in our order but we told her we will still wiling to wait. Food still never came. It was 6:30pm on a Friday night. Not busy, ordered a BLT. 3 ingredients on toast, couldn’t handle it. Very disappointing. The food at Bell’s brewery down the street came in less than 5 minutes and it was delicious. 0 customer service at Shakespeares.

Love this place! LOVE IT! I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I remember the carpet! Everyone there is awesome. Kalamazoo wouldn't be the same without Shakespeares.

No stars would be more accurate. Waitress was the worst. Complained to manager ( waitress admitted after a hour, she forgot to put our order in). Never brought us napkins or silverware. She was standing over by the bar playing on her phone, expecting a tip, and for something magical to happen to do her job. Manager didn't care. So our group left. I won't ever step foot in this establishment again, hopefullyyou wont either. Customer bewere!

Worst Experience Ever!!- This is my first official bad review. I've never complained about a meal, drink or service ever until my last experience at Shakespeare's Pub. Went at 6:30pm last Friday night(not busy) and after waiting for an hour for food our server, Lauren, informed us that she forgot to submit our food order. Keep in mind it was not busy at all. We watched our server hangout and look bored at the bar. She may have had 2 tables. Understandably, we were disappointed but we told her we were still willing to wait for our food. Immediately following, we were handed our bills and asked to leave by the Manager, Dallas. The situation was handled very poorly and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, we were asked to leave. I was completely shocked on how this was handled and still am. I understand that servers make mistakes, and that's ok, but management's job is to resolve customer's/server's issues not make it worse. I've never heard of anyone actually enjoying the food here any way. My family and friends will be avoiding this dump in the future. This experience as with many others explains why we were able to walk right in on a Friday night and get a table. The places with good food and service had at least a 45 min wait. No further explanation needed.

Very cool eclectic bar with cool.decor vibe great people owners r nice.
I have never given a bad review, but came in at 6:15 ordered food took 1 hour 45 minutes to get my Ruben and fries was cold , my girls chicken quesadillas was beef. Waitresses never asked us if we wanted a drink, was told if we wanted water with our meal we could get it ourselves at a different table. Hopefully just a bad night.

I went to this place tonight and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. My wife received the wrong drink, and when we pointed it out, the staff insisted it was correct because “the ticket” said so. We had ordered the same drink for someone else in our group, and one was right while the other was wrong. Despite this clear discrepancy, the staff refused to acknowledge the mistake or offer a solution.
The manager was equally unhelpful. Instead of addressing the issue or trying to make things right, they just backed up the staff’s incorrect stance and showed no interest in resolving the situation. This lack of customer care and problem-solving skills was infuriating.
The service was so poor that we decided not to eat our food and left. The place might have a nice atmosphere, but the combination of unresponsive staff and a clueless manager makes it a spot to avoid.
