Local’s breakfast spot. Nice feel where it’s probably the owner serving you at your table.

Great home cooked breakfast. Wonderful service and a bar so you can enjoy the lovely servers:)

The food is incredible and you get what you pay for! The blonde who serves the whole restaurant by herself did great!

Fantastic food and great portions. Great place to start your day. Tori and staff are awesome.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted coldly and sat ourselfs and grabbed our own highchair.
After attempting to get a waitresses attention multiple times for a spoon or creamer, we had to basically yell for her to hear us and treat us like the biggest inconveniece in the world.
My buscuits and gravy were so cold that i sent them back, and my sons bacon was almost completley uncooked. So uncooked thar he couldnt even chew and swallow it. The coffee that i had to force that nasty stuff down with was worse than the food itself.
And it still costed us $40!!!!
I will never go back.
Also there was a straight up child working there. Like a CHILD.

The Skillet has the best breakfast in Kalamazoo! Large portions so you never leave hungry. Great staff. Very clean and inviting. This has become my go to breakfast stop. Highly recommend!

There was no wait to get in, and the waitress was nice. However the restaurant was mostly empty, and it took a longer time than I would have liked to get our food. The ingredients lacked flavor, and the entire meal, aside from the french toast, was very greasy. There were four hairs that I counted in the food, and it overall was not the best experience in my opinion.

The salt and pepper shakers have only two tiny holes I paid for hot peppers but didn't get any with my skillet. The build your own skillet is about the same as how a taxi cab fare is calculated it starts at a base price and you get charged for any items you want in you skillet separately. All in all I honestly do believe the business wont survive once the true reputation and business operations are out more and more to the public. It could be a nice business but serious changes need to be made.

This place was amazing. Watch out for the owner, she has a hatred of spoons! You will not receive one with your coffee. It definitely made me laugh.
