Wouldn’t know how the food is, placed an order for several people on GrubHub and when we went to pick it up they said they weren’t receiving the orders. The staff was kind of rude about it and offered no help.

The staff was friendly enough and the inside of the building is inviting. The food was pretty good as well, I ordered the Milwood and the other meal is the French dip sandwich.

Great lunch spot, and the peanut butter pie is dangerously delicious.

I ordered the rib tip dinner and the portions were for a child, I was not satisfied with their flimsy rib tips. They should just stick to pizza and subs.

Great food and fun space

Upon suggestion, my buddy and I both had the Slim Jim sandwich. Super yummy!

Great food, Friendly service. Decent prices. The new owner is doing a great job carrying on Jeff Wagner's legacy. Well done!

Rude, Rude, Rude!
I was on a trip in this town and decided to try this place. It was an absolute disappointment both in terms of service and the food quality. The waitress was so rude and dirty. She smelled horrible and her dirty hands. The food quality has so much room to improve:

We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh; the serving size was generous but not overwhelming. My husband had the Cobb salad, and it was very good too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The cafe is conveniently located about 0.5 miles from the highway-easy on/easy off. I would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for lunch and look forward to stopping there again when I'm passing through Kalamazoo. PS-the desserts looked amazing! Fresh pies, cake, bars etc. [We're trying to avoid sweets so we didn't partake-but it was tempting].

Vegetarian options: You can get salads without the protein.

Amazing service amazing people and amazing food. If you were ever in Kalamazoo, you have to stop here. I so wish I would’ve taken pictures, but it still wouldn’t have done justice for an amazing food service and pricing is unbelievable. I wish I had more to offer. I matched my bill and tip because I was so impressed please at all means stop at this side brick right off the road mom and Pop place, there’s nothing better that I have found in the last 10 years!!!!!
