We stopped at the Summer Thyme Cafe for lunch on our way to Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with little booths and tables for dining in. The menu has a great variety of salads and sandwiches, so it was hard to decide what to order! I chose the Chicken Pecan salad, and it was delicious. Amazing service amazing people and amazing food. If you were ever in Kalamazoo, you have to stop here. I so wish I would’ve taken pictures, but it still wouldn’t have done justice for an amazing food service and pricing is unbelievable. I wish I had more to offer. I matched my bill and tip because I was so impressed please at all means stop at this side brick right off the road mom and Pop place, there’s nothing better that I have found in the last 10 years!!!!!

I went because I read an article that they were going out of business in October. Turns out they sold to a new owner and they are staying open.I tried a panini and a wrap, both were good but not outstanding. The coconut cream pie was outstanding. Kind of pricey though for what you get. It was good but I probably won't go again.
