I've been coming here for a few years and it's absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Kalamazoo area. They're extremely nice, recognize me and my partner, and always deliver an amazing product right on time. Their St. Luis Roll and Obama's Choice are my favorite foods in the world hand down, and the crab tempura appetizer is incredible. Please give this place a try, it's never as busy as it should be and you won't be disappointed.

The sushi has way too much cream cheese, cucumber roll was rolled loose and every piece broke, and our server sat at a table playing phone games with the volume up. I would recommend visiting a different restaurant.

It's hard finding a sushi place with good sushi rice like this one. It was a perfect texture and flavor lending one to enjoying eating just the rice and complimenting the fish wonderfully.
The horseradish was chunky. My palette isn't capable of confidentially differentiating wasabi and the more common green dyed horseradish we call wasabi in sushi shops, but I admit to being excited.
The chef did large sushi cuts with even larger rice balls. Again, it's good that their rice is incredible. Most of the time I'd eat 1/2 of the rice separately.
I don't know about their sushi rolls. I usually only do sashimi. All of their fish were great except the red snapper.
