As ex-locals who've been away from Kalamazoo for a while, revisiting Sweetwater's Donut Mill was like unearthing a cherished, delicious memory – and it was even better than we remembered!
The moment you walk in, the familiar, comforting aroma of freshly baked donuts instantly transports you back. The sheer variety is still astounding; from classic glazed and old-fashioned to their more unique and decadent creations, there's something to tempt every palate.
For anyone who grew up in or lived in Kalamazoo, Sweetwater's is more than just a donut shop – it's a nostalgic landmark. Coming back and finding it just as fantastic as we left it was incredibly heartwarming. The staff were just as friendly and efficient as we remembered, too!
If you're an ex-local like us, or even if you're just passing through Kalamazoo, do yourself a HUGE favor and stop by Sweetwater's Donut Mill. We'll be making sure it's not a forgotten favorite ever again!

So I wrote a review on Sweetwater's a couple days ago and I’ve never really had any problems with them. They’re always great I had had one bad experience, but I have to tell you that they definitely stepped up and made things right and I’m so thankful for that because I love their donuts we went in yesterday And got donuts for my daughters birthday and they were amazing. The ladies were so nice and helpful and the donuts were super fresh. Thanks again, Sweetwater's

I walked in to buy a doughnut for my dog because I just left the vet down the street where they asked me today if I wanted to put my dog down because she’s very sick. The lady at the counter gave me the donut holes for free, not knowing that information, I thanked her and turned and walked out of the store, crying all the way home as this kindless act was somehow a sign of goodness in life. Thank you to the woman that gave me 4 peanut donut holes ! Peace ✌️

Sweetwater's doughnuts use to be super fresh and delicious. The last 2 times I have eaten them I have been given at least a day old doughnut judging by it's lack of freshness.

This is the place to go when you are craving some sweet, warm and delicious doughnuts! Staff is absolutely accommodating and always have smiles on their faces from early morning to late! We are “too frequent” of a visitor here, but that’s because they are so wonderful! Love the small and cozy feel to their seating area and warm atmosphere! Give them a try!

The signs for drive thru tells you it's 24 hours but really they close at 8pm. The fact that they are LYING on their sign just shows how mismanaged and unorganized this place is. Keep up to date on your signs and hours. So annoyed I can't get donuts right now. Taking my service and who ever I know somewhere else. Goodluck on the crap business
