I've been coming here for years while in Kalamazoo for a conference. The food is good value but not terribly flavorful. The wet burrito combo is a ton of food for like 13$.

Genuinely horrified by the state of the restaurant. There was a strong odor of bathroom/sewage upon walking in, and there was old food splattered on the walls of the upstairs dining area.
Very nice spot to eat, have a beer (limited choices, though), and enjoy a game on the big screen inside, or enjoy a beautiful view of the Kalamazoo Mall area outside.

I once knew someone who knows the real Taco Bob. I love their walking tacos. Sometimes I stop downtown in Kalamazoo and grab two because I'm greedy. I'm a simple guy with a complex perspective so I decided to go to the Taco Bob's in Portage. I wanted soft tacos instead of walking tacos... Let's just say I bit off more than I could chew because I've been addicted ever since! And now it's a FIGHT for my LIFE!! AND MY SANITY!! BECAUSE I CAN'T MAKE A DECISION WHETHER I WANT SOFT TACOS OR IF I WANT WALKING TACOS.
Parking: Don't try to park on the brick street just park next to it or next to the library or go to a parking ramp nearby. I like the roof. Find an open space somewhere not too far and take a nice walk.

Food was what you would expect from a Mexican-type place in Michigan. The burrito I got was average. The sauce reminded me more of pasta sauce than something you would expect from Mexican style food. The service was friendly and fast.
