We had my daughter’s 30th birthday party there in February. The entire staff was very accommodating even when our number of guests increased. The mimosa flight was amazing! We had pizza and fries and were able to enjoy the kid friendly activities! We drove up from Three Rivers to try it out and our server Brittany was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! Great food and service, we will be coming back!

I love the idea of The Backyard, but I think it has room for improvement. The food was mediocre. Toys in the indoor toy room were scattered and the room simply felt chaotic. Broken toys, toys with dead batteries and a hot room is what I recall most. The outdoor area is a neat place with many toys, but, again, it just felt chaotic. I think it would be nice to have a toddler area and another area for bigger kids. Despite this, I will give it another try this summer. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

I must have gone on an off day, but our service was poor, the food was way over priced. $100 (with tip) for a couple burgers, an app, and a couple of drinks. The food and drinks were for lack of a better word horrible. One drink could not even be drank.
Saw a post about this place needing some love, so we decided to go try it out! 4 of us went around 6:30 on a Friday night, only 4 other tables there, but we noticed a lot of staff. We were seated and someone brought us all water and then 5 minutes later our waitress came by to take our drink order and asked if we wanted to order appetizers, we place an order for 2 items. After one appetizer was delivered she asked if we were ready to order, we placed our order, finished the one appetizer before the other one came out. We watched staff standing around laughing having a good time with some patrons at the bar. We noticed one of our orders in the window for at least 5 minutes and it was another 5 minutes before we got our food!! Everything came out cold!!!! Our waters were never filled until we asked, never asked if we wanted another beer, checked on us once right after food was delivered and that was it until we asked for the check. As a table of 4 with 3 of us who have worked in various areas of the food industry we were taken back by the whole experience!! We have cooked, managed, waited and bartend, none of us could have imagined serving the food that was served.I never leave bad tips, and this was the first time I have ever only left 10%! I didn't even want to leave that but on a little over $100 bill we definitely didn't feel we got our money worth in food or service!!Service was poor to say the least and kitchen really needs to learn how to time food!! There should never be frozen dipping sauce, warm mayonnaise, coagulated cheese on nachos or cold fries.We were so disappointed all the way around. We really wanted to enjoy our experience but this visit really made it hard too.

We brought in a large group of 16. We had made a reservation, which they confirmed, and set us up right by the playroom. It was winter so we can’t speak to outside but our kids had a blast. We could watch them play while we ate. The food was awesome. We had bloody Mary’s and they were fantastic. We will definitely be coming back regularly with the same group and other friends!

Went last night for the first time. All the servers were busy an very freindly. Wife and I ordered an old fashioned and winter margarita. Old fashioned was not good. Basically some lower shelf whiskey with not much else. Ordered hummus for app. A burger and bowl of chili. App never came out and then was brought with rest of food. But, it was delicious. Wife loved the chili. Burger tasted OK but was way overcooked and dry. I pointed this out to server and she just said its a smash burger and its how they are. I didnt want to explain the smash burgers are normally quite juicy.There french fries are really good. Atmospere is definitely for families with children. We knew that going in. For the most part, kids stuck to the play room. Overall I would not say it was a completely bad experience but could have been better service and burger should have been way better for $15. And stop making the old fashioned that way, really bad. With it being so far out of town, probably will not return. I heard so many positive reviews i was expecting better.Parking: Parking lot is Gravel.
