Nick and Jo a lovely married couple who started a distillery and have a great passion for it. We lucked out to hit them when they were open. Both are locals of Kalamazoo and live and work in the area. They recommend to call ahead if you want to do a tasting. We got a tour of the place and for 10$ we sampled 8 spirits and we learned so much about the process.

I finally had a chance to drop in one weekend and see what was going on here. The distillery building looks a little shady from outside, but don't let that fool you. The owners are very friendly and they were willing to give me a rundown of their process and products not long before they were scheduled to close for the day. Their gin was good, and I really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm they had for distilling.
