Came here for dinner today with my fiance and soon to be mother in law. We really enjoyed this place! The service is great! Our waitress was really cool and she had fast, attentive service. We were sad to hear she is leaving soon.We started with the truffle fries. Those were really good! The perfect texture, and that aioli was awesome! I got the GOAT Burger. That lives up to its name, it is amazing! Wow! And the spicy cheese curds, especially with the spicy ranch, are delicious as well! Wisconsin could learn a lesson from these! We would definitely return!

Our server was great! Wish I could give him more stars. Our first visit here and we'll be back for sure. Food was good and Sundays are 40% food and drinks. What's not to like about that. We were going to go to the competitor down the road but they didn't have a cook. Seems like it worked out for the best! Hubby had Moo, oink, quack and loved it. We split fried mushrooms and onion rings, those were really good too .

went to The Old Goat Tavern for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. The goat fries are to die for, the burger was delicious, the fried pickles were perfect, and the drinks were strong. The staff was also fast and friendly!

This is right by Western Michigan University, and has the college bar vibe. They were very welcoming to us, and we have been out of college for many many years. In the last week I've had two people recommend going here, which I had never had happen - or even heard of this place before. That is the kind of thing that never happens. They have a great selection of burgers and beers. If that's what you're looking for, I would recommend you give it a try.
Went to old goat in a Friday night and waited in line in the snow for 45 minutes and there was no post that it was college night. We were rejected at the door, and will not be trying again or spending money there. They can keep their college student income money ?

Nah, I dont think this restaurant can be rated as 3rd in kalamazoo for the burger. University roadhouse's kalamazoo best is much better for their bacon jam. Try harder.
