September 29, 2025 at the Westnedge place. We had a young server with blonde hair and a squeeky voice. She was an absolute treasure to have there. And this is my boy Clark.

So refreshing to have o frosty mug of root beer on the hottest day of the year!

The staff on hand today was polite. The food was hot and delicious. The prices for the food are rather reasonable compared to a lot of other basic restaurants that offer the same food variety as the root beer stand. Being that it's a drive-up food place and there's no place to go inside the parking lot was clean no debris flying around. Yes I would visit this place again and yes I would recommend this to my friends and family

They have been open for 95 years and it looks like it would have looked back then. You stay in your car and it's window service! They bring a tray that sits on your window! It was a really cool experience and incredibly cheap for the best root beer I have ever had!

There are moments in the new world where it’s easy to contemplate the real value of a dollar. You pop into a corner shop, buy a chocolate bar and it costs you $2.50. So a dollar is worth 40% of a chocolate bar. Then you go to an antiques market and the entry price is $15. So a dollar is worth 6.7% of an hour in a hot parking lot. Then you go to somewhere like The Root Beer Stand, and you get 2 hot dogs (lovingly topped with homemade chilli, mustard, onions and a pickle spear) and a home brewed root beer for $9. So a dollar is worth 11.1% of a full stomach, nostalgia for a time you didn’t live through, satiated tastebuds, refreshment, great service, charm, convenience and a great memory of a Sunday afternoon. (Also they have those cool trays that hang on your window (pictured)). Amazing experience TRBS, never change.

Good food, a little pricey for hot dogs. They need to sell French fries and onion rings.
