It’s a great location since it offers southern dishes on campus for college students. The two ladies working on 4/26/25 set a most welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We were promised a 10 minute wait and our food was served timely. Great service! It was around 7:45pm on a Saturday, and we were 1 of 2 customers in the restaurant. It wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, but it was clean. The fish & wings were on point! The green tomatoes were okay- the breading was thick....
I came in real late just before closing time and they treated me as if I was the first customer of the day. They where real professional and the food was amazing they know what they doing in that kitchen 11/10 stars great job
The food was good, but pricey. The cook got our order wrong but he was very nice about fixing it. This diner needs a bit of upkeep but I see the vibes they are striving for. This is a nice little place to dip in for some soul food, better than average for Kalamazoo area
